Personal Musings ~ wtf is wrong with everyone?

He brings joy to millions of people around the world—and yet his fans go crazy because he’s seen in public with a bruise on his neck—a hickey they say…speculation I say.  

I’m not naïve, I know when something isn’t my business—know when to keep my mouth shut—and I make it a goal not to judge a person for their actions or words.  I write Taekook|Vkook FanFiction, I collect photos of the BTS members, watch videos and follow their careers.  I’m a fangirl at heart and I honestly couldn’t be more proud of this young man and his accomplishments.

Knowing this brings a smile to my face.  The fleeting ability for him to find happiness in the world he lives astounds me.  His life is a flurry of demanding practices sessions of choreography and singing, finding time to create new lyrics and melodies then record/produce tracks, attend endorsements and promotional venues, celebrity interviews, fan meetings, variety shows, shooting music videos, short films, concerts, touring and international travel, photo shoots…and heaven knows what all else.

These obligations and responsibilities weigh down on him as he makes time for staying physically fit, eating healthy, and maintaining some type of sleep schedule while trying his best to be keep in contact with his family because he’s been away from them for five years…and he misses them desperately.

I write fiction about this boy who happens to live in the real world.  

He has a life that will never be quiet or peaceful…unless he walks away from his chosen path in the music industry.  So when I see this boy’s personal life splashed across all of my social media accounts—because of a bruise on his neck—my heart can’t help but be torn.

If this bruise on his neck is a hickey…

How embarrassing for him (I cringe)—to have his family members, band mates, friends, managers and company personnel be witness to and be forced to deal with a possible scandal because he found a precious moment in his life to have a personal experience (if this mark is even a hickey).  

How absolutely unnecessary and pitiful everyone’s reaction to something so mundane.  A serious commotion over such a common event—one that every person around the world, has had or will have at some point in their life. And yet when this boy finds himself in the same position—and he finally gets to act like the 20 year old young man he is—he is harshly reprimanded and judged by the virtual community.

This makes me incredibly angry!  

Why do the ARMYs—who claim to love this boy and the other members—deny him this rite of passage…when given the same chance, they would never forbid themselves from having this same life experience…hypocrites! 

The same young man, who chooses to compile video logs, special cover songs and personally answer fan mail to his fans instead of sleeping—because there’s only so many hours in each day…and he doesn’t want to disappoint the ARMYs and world-wide fandom.

The ARMYs and fandoms are in shock, awe and even outraged toward this boy’s actions…

If there were even any illicit actions to speak of, for ’s sake, a stolen personal moment or otherwise.  Why is ANY of this YOUR business?  The very fact that this event makes headlines or reaches my home is utterly deplorable in my eyes—how dare you point your fingers, judge or bully this boy with the same mouth you use to kiss your own family, friends and lovers with…

I’m ashamed of your behavior…

You betray without a second thought, you lack a conscious and compassion for your fellow brothers and sisters—you cry out for acceptance and tolerance and yet you fail to freely give what you outright demand from others!  

I’m truly saddened by this…

I’m sorry to call myself human and stand at your side in life.

In closing…

I want to personally send out wonderful thoughts and glorious vibes to the universe on behalf of this beautiful boy. 

I personally wish him a lifetime full of success, happiness and love—I pray he will find happiness and love in all the in-betweens of his hectic life!  

I hope he will aspire to make the very best of every blessing that is offered to him without regard to the callous remarks or slander of others.

This beautiful boy should be told of his worth and not listen to the jealous and negative talk of others.

Please be brave and courageous and never be afraid to either give or receive love because of the foul comments of the simple-minded people who would rather tear people down rather than help support or build them up.
