College Decisions...!!!

Before I begin, I am grateful for the scholarship I earned. I am also grateful to be a college student because I know many people who can't afford it.

With that being said, I will proceed with my conflicts.

My first decision is whether I want to live in a double room with a roommate  or in a single by myself. I currently live in a double. The hall I live in is super nice and it's close to my classes. The hall I will be living in with a single is further away from my classes and none of my friends will be living there next year. And the dorms don't look as nice. But I won't have to share a room with anyone. My biggest concern is that I'll be lonely without a roommate. So issue #1, single vs. double room

Issue #2, should I study abroad next January? I was researching programs and they have trips specifically for Business major students. Instead of taking my gen eds on campus, I can take them in South Korea, Japan, France, or United Kingdom. How cool is that? But the issue is, will I be prepared enough mentally to spend a whole semester out of the country? Is it too soon? I will be barely 20 years old...

My original plan was to study abroad my junior year but by then I will most likely be in my required major classes. I will have to take a semester off of taking required major classes to go abroad and take gen ed classes that might not count towards my degree.

So the decision should be easy. Study Abroad sophomore year!! I will most likely get over any fears I have. But there's one thing I forgot to mention. I will be working a new job on campus as of May 2017. So if I go abroad I might have to quit that job after only being there a semester. There's a possibility they will hold my spot until the following summer, but I highly doubt it. But then again, a trip overseas is more valuable than a campus life job.

Ugh, all these decisions!!! I shouldn't be over thinking these things but I am. I can't help it. I will meet with an academic advisor about the classes I will be taking in the future and I will talk to the study abroad office about my options later on this week, so I will have more information to make a decision.

Advice Welcomed!!

I know not of studying abroad life as I'm already out of my home country for university in general so I have no advice on that.
For dorm life I believe it's up to your personality and how you feel comfortable. I've shared rooms for the past 2 academic years and did not like it. I had a real for a roommate for first year so for second I decided to be roomies with a friend, it too turned sour for my tastes due to her friends barging in and out the room even though she told them otherwise as well as the noises made when I was trying to sleep. Currently I'm in a single room (praises to Kibum's glorious ) and I love it so much. For final year I've already applied for a single room again, my dorm building isn't the cleanest/nicest looking but I prefer it with my privacy. I'm not a sociable person like I used to be because living in a dorm with 110 girls really show you the worst in others. As for distance from classes it's a plus to me (more exercise) as for friends don't worry you'll either make new ones or learn to appreciate the ones you have more. Crappy advice is crappy but just take from all of the above to weight out your pros and cons and thoroughly think each through.
Good luck! ♡
