Centuries ago, they came in groups using the magic of the forest and of that of the pure blood wolves. In family scrolls, the event was recorded by the keepers as the “Big Migration”; thousands of them left their world and crossed over to live among the human race.The war tore families apart, destroyed clans and kingdoms and black magic overpowered the good with a constant grey mist lurking over the once, prosperous and fertile land. The wolves brought with them nymphs, fairies, mermaids and elves. They assimilated into the human world but their traditions lived on from the way marriages were celebrated to the way the dead were mourn and one tradition, in particular, was hard to part with. Every wolf was required to have a companion, a pet. Without one, a wolf be shined from their clans and families and without them, they can’t survive.
