I'M INTERNALLY RAGING

Reasons why I hate government officials:

You know no I'm just gonna rant instead of listing things. (At the end you'll understand why I'm bringing this up now).

So about a year ago during Christmas break, my mom and I fly or aboard the train over to California (we have reletives there). We were flying this time. While during security check, I finished first and waited to the side for my mother. Then as she's getting pat down, I noticed the guard was practically ramming her hands in my mother's crotch and in defense, my mom lightly bat her hand away...but wow this riled that security guard up enough where she began yelling at my mother, and began shouting, "SHE HIT ME! SHE SLAPPED ME!"

Now my mom was trying to calm her down, but nope the guard brings official security over and they pull my mom to sit beside me (I'm internally freaking out but trying to hold a cold demeanor) and ask my mom if she's okay. Obviously she wasn't. But anyway, the security guards come over and start harassing and questioning her about what she did and as my mom is sort of losing it (it was really early in the morning) the security man suddenly says, "No, you don't have the power here ma'am. You don't have the power."

It was then I stepped up and said, "Hey, let her explain, she's trying to speak but you're not letting her—" of course he cuts me off and tells me to shut up. No, nah, nobody tells me to shut up when I'm sticking my neck out for my family or friends, so I tried again and he yelled at me to sit down.

They bring my mom in a private room to discuss things (I was very scared for her), while a couple other guards were standing there with me. I tried reasoning with them but they just kept saying, "We'll see in the end, it's okay."

I can hear the security guard still ranting about how, "Oh yes she really did slap me. She hurt me! No really my arm really hurts!" I was this close to walking over there and giving her a piece of my mind. But I didn't because I knew I'd just be delaying our flight. I mean we were already late anyways. After what felt like forever my mom came out, looking ruffled but she was okay. Obviously they would listen to their fellow security guard instead of her.

As we began walking away, I noticed the stand where all the security guards were. And being my stubborn-won't-keep-my-mouth-shut 17 year old, I walked right up to them and said, "You know the truth. Don't abuse your power and this up...again." They glared at me but didn't say anything.

So for the entire rest of the year my mom went through a couple of trials, where each one she lost (not to mention her attorney hated her), and ended up having to pay thousands of dollars OVER A FREAKING PUSH OF THE ARM!!!! WHAT. THE. !!!

And I'm bringing this up now because the TIS finally contacted her and instead of her paying hundreds of dollars she has to pay 4000....

Thus why I'm internally raging.

And my mother has lost so much more money than just 4000 already to a freaking push of the arm... Of course, this isn't the first nor the last government officials will abuse their power...just another reason why I hate my country and still again, remembering how our history hasn't changed at all.

The world everywhere is no longer safe. People can just do anything they want and get away easily just because they have power. Justiced no longer exist because people can easily buy them with money . As future generation it's our responsibility to stand only for the right and teach our children to stand for the truth even if it means to stand alone. We need to restore dignity in human race
stop double standard and mistreatment.
