PERSONALITY :　

Calm and Well Manner - Basically he develop both of the personality from his parents. He like how calm her mother are and how gentleman his father are.  He develop this personality by habit also the lesson that his parent thought him. For him being calm actually help him sort out any situation he into. And upon the well manner he used this a lot toward his half sister. His father once told him since he is the only the son in the family he need to leave good impression toward other people. 

Passionate and Talented - He love music when he was in early high school. Starting that time he start to learn singing, he actually ask help from his high school music teacher to teach him properly. His teacher actually find that Jae Hwan actually have a good voice and always helping him out. Despite his father disagree but that doesn't really stop him. He sometimes join the those street performance for visitors at Jeju-Do. Once he was scouted he really passionate in learning everything he can even rap and dance the one he never learn before. 

Reliable and Protective - This personality of hi mostly showed up when he with his family as he want to be the reliable son to his parents and protective brother to both his sisters. But then when he become a trainee in Solar maybe because of his debut experiance he become one of the reliable member that can help making Olympian to the top. Also the person that can help each member of Olympian in musically support.

Less Talker  - He doesn't talk much not because he arrogant but he think if he talk a lot people might think he act know-it-wel like a person. But he do spoke when he think he need to like giving out ideas for the group also helping the members.

Cautious  and Over Thinking - This personality basically come out during his hiatus days. When Solar want to recruit him, he actually take about a month before signing with Solar. He already thought about all the consequence he going have, people either support him or reject him.

Perfectionist and Clean Freak -  his a perfectionist when it comes to dance. He will stay up late till he get the whole dance perfect and smooth. And born mostly among girl he pick up this clean freak personality. He  don't really like people mess up his room and unfortunately he will even clean his roommate side of room also. This can either be  a good habit or simple bad habit. But this don't effect if people borrow his things. He still can let other member use his things just make sure to put it where it belong either then leaving it around.

BACKGROUND :　

Park Jun Myeon married Choi Min Kyung after his first wife died with a cancer. He bring along to the family his two years old daughter from his previous. Two years after the marriage, Jae Hwan was born on 20 December 1994. 

As he grow up he basically being love by his family especially his half-sister. His half-sister was four years old when he was born and being a Noona to him, she help their mother in take care of Jae Hwan. She can become really protective to Jae Hwan and while Jae Hwan grow up he basically stick with his Noona. 

When he's in his elementary school he slowly become attract to music. In their house there's an old piano his sister used to play with. He sometimes randomly play those notes so his mother teach him to play, then slowly develop a strong interest in it. 

During his early high school he start to get deeper into music, he ask his music teacher to teach him more about music so that is when his vocal ability become better and better each and every day. During that also, he started to do street performances for those foreigners also local visitor that come and visit Jeju. 

His parent doesn't really mind when he went outside to sing at the street, they think maybe its one of the way they can make sure he not involve in bad things and be stress since usually guy his age turn rebels and doing bad stuffs like smoking and stuffs. 

His sister at her age of 17 auditioned to be a model and at first she didnt get accepted but that doesn't let her giving up. Jae Hwan and his mother was her biggest support at that time since his father don't think his daughter can be successful by being a model. That doesn't stop his sister to quit half way, Jae Hwan like how persistent his sister are when it come to what she like. Jae Hwan was like his sister biggest fans and supporter. His sister eventually get into model industry after her second audition and that time they have to be apart as she have to go to Seoul for the work.

When he just 15, as usual he just having great time entertaining the tourist with his group of performance. That is when Dream Entertainment scouter see his performance and finally have a talk with him on what he think about going on stage, debuting and sing. He went home right away after that, thinking that maybe this is the oppurtunity for him to do what he like for his living. 

But the ideas actually was opposed by his father ofcourse just like what his father said to his sister, his father don't really agree on being a singer as a living and also he has a bit doubt on the company itself as he never heard of it unlike SM, YG, JYP and other big company. But that doesn't stop Jae Hwan from try to achieve his dream also, like his sister he will try whatever he can to achieve it.

So Jae Hwan accept the offer from Dream Entertainment, becoming their one and only trainee as the company just open couple of months before. His trainee life there is really good compare well at least for the first timer trainee. Dream Entertainment give every training they can give to him as they try to make the best first appearance in music entertainment. 

Within a year Jae Hwan got to step on stage with his the name of Jay bring his first mini album titled "Dancing Shoes" which he wrote by himself. The debut can be called as a warm received as he, the only artist from a 'nugu' company stepping up on stage performing his self-compose debut song. 

He bring the debut song for almost two month before coming with another mini album with title "Only Look At Me" and this time he got a bit hot respond compare to the previous one. Also coming along with the album is his own composing that he tried to do during his trainee days. 

He basically doesn't really have a nice break in between. To make his name known to the South Korea, he need to work hard. Within one year, he manage to be known not only to the South Korea but also some other area in the world along with his 4 mini album and a 1 digital album.

Within that period of time his parent are nothing but a great support to him, start from his father who at first opposed the idea but then start to support even from a mere phone call and sometimes both of them come to one of his broadcast performances. 

During one of his schedules where he need to attend some fashion show, there he met with his sister who he haven't meet for a quite some times. Both of them are just happy to met each other. Both of them make a quick dinner appointment which soon turn to be a big scandal for his company. But then soon both of them clear the scandal news proving that both of them are actually siblings. 

Who know that the scandal actually help him being worldwide known as his first full album become a hit. His sister fans come to his fan meetings, support him during broadcast performance and his fans grow bigger by time. He also get to have his first solo concert within Seoul after a year and 3 months debut. 

But then big problem occur to Dream Entertainment as the CEO of the company got caught in illegal gambling. This make Jae Hwan halt his activities. The company had to be close down as without the CEO its hard to operate the company. The company representative and Jae Hwan had a serious talk. And knowing Jae Hwan, he accept the agreement on terminating the contract and both parties parted in good way avoiding all the press ruthless questions and remarks. 

Jae Hwan spend his hiatus days at his parent house in Jeju, there he basically help his parent run the Cafe, greetings the fans that come support him. He still continue performing in the club in Jeju Town. He still can't let go of his passion in music. 

One day in mid 2014 he got a call from Solar Entertainment asking him to meet them in a couple of days. He think this is maybe his second chance on getting on stage again. So he get the plane the next day after agreeing to meet with Solar Entertainment. He listen to everything Solar Entertainment said also along with the contract they offer to him. At first he think that when he have to be train again wasn't really a good idea but then maybe this is the way of him to improving so he agreed and signed the contract with Solar Entertainment becoming one of their trainee and living the trainee life ove ragain, but this time more focus, passion and determination.

He at first doesn't really like the idea of Jae Hwan be a singer but then agreed as he think if that what make Jae Hwan happy so he start to support his son career.  

▸ Mother — Choi Min Kyung (48) / Cafe Owner / Cheerful, Supportive, Lovely, Warm / 10/10 - Jae Hwan close with his mother more as he is the only son his mother had. She always be the person Jae Hwan look first either a good news or bad news. She loves see her son in TV and she likes to treat her son fans that come to her cafe. She have been support her son carer since the beginning even Jae Hwan had to start over again.

▸ Half-sister — Park Song Hye (27 90'er) ( OC with FC Park Soo Joo ) / Supermodel / Hyper, Funny, Protective  / 9/10 - She is Jae Hwan Half Older sister. she'e been in the family since she two years old where their parents married. Her real mother died of cancer. Two years after that she got a younger brother which is Jae Hwan. She really love Jae Hwan and over protective toward him. Once she become a model she rarely see Jae Hwan but once they met at some Fashion Show the scandal come out and she think its funny, well she know her younger brother is good looking. Once the world know that they are siblings, she can easily go out with him for some coffee in public showing to the world they are really close not like any half siblings out there.

▸ Younger sister  — Park Min Ah (10) ( OC ) / Elementary Student / Bubbly, Cuteness loads, Hyper, Clingy / 10/10 Min Ah born when Jae Hwan was 13 and Min ah is like a baby to both Jae Hwan and Song Hye. Both of them spoil her too much. Min Ah basically clingy toward Jae Hwan and he never bothered by it.  Min Ah is like Jae Hwan vitamin as she always make Jae Hwan keep a smile on. Jae Hwan like to sing to her any song that she want.

 - Dream Entertainment

     JaeHwan is the only trainee under Dream Ent. its actually quite weird but understanding that the company itself is a new growing company so he was given all the attention he can get. They give him the best tutor either vocal, rap,composing and dance, they give all they can get. 
     From there JaeHwan get to develop more in term of his vocal as that is the reason why he was street casted by the company. He pick up dance and slowly loving it. But with rap, he had to because the company already give a note ahead that he will be debuting as solo and hope that he can rap to his own song so he slowly learn it at basic level only. 

      The training he receive going on until he debut under the name of Jay with song called "Dancing Shoes."

 

- Solar Entertainment

 

      Solar Entertainment saw the news and think that JaeHwan maybe can fit in this project they come up with so they give JaeHwan a called and JaeHwan actually agreed to meet up with Solar representative and after that a contract have been signed with agreement that JaeHwan have to be trained again which he agreed since he thought maybe he can use this oppurtunity to improve his musically abilities. 
          But then there's an obsticle for him, is he going to be okay with working with many people on stage ? At the first day the trainees there felt a bit uncomfortable with him being there but then after few weeks its change and he able to practice with the other trainees really well.
                   

PREDEBUT EXPERIENCES : 

▸ Dream Entertainment announced their first artist, JaeHwan or known as Jay with song called "Dancing Shoes"in 2011. The song was actually his collaboration composing with the company composer. 
     Following after that he come up a second mini album with title "Only Look At Me" produced by one of the famous composer.
      Early year of 2012 he release a full album consist of title song made by famous composer and some are from his self-composing. He make a quite  name for himself for the past two years until the scandal about the CEO of Dream Entertainment revealed.
       Both parties decide its the best for JaeHwan to finish his contract and with that both parties separated in good ways.
         But after finish the contract with Dream Ent, JaeHwan mostly stay at Jeju with his family before got scouted by Solar Entertainment.

What will happen to Jay their only active artist?" | When the news come out the CEO already in arrested and the board including Jay decide that have to close down and Jay leave in good way without having problem in both parties.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO FINALLY DEBUT? : 

▸ To be finally debut... uh...I've always believe in second chance, so to be finally debut again really makes me happy and this time I will try to work more harder alongside with the other members. Debut as a solo do make me feel empty at the stage sometimes but now with the other Olympian's I think the stage will be full and have more energy. 

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO DEBUT IN A COED GROUP INSTEAD OF A BOY/GIRL GROUP? : 

▸ *nods at the question first* I was actually suprised by the news at first. Well we do trained together with the girls but to be debut in coed group do make me worries. But I think we can put the worries aside since everyone is basically friendly with each other like one big family.
     Besides looking at this way I think its really a good idea to make a coed group, we can improve in musically performances. Also it will make us more unique and outstanding from other groups. We have all the voice range we can get and many ideas can be apply for Olympian's.

 

OLYMPIAN IS RECEIVING A LOT OF ATTENTION FOR NOT ONLY BEING A COED GROUP, BUT HAVING HAD A PREVIOUS SET OF MEMBERS. HOW DOES IT FEEL KNOWING THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE ROOTING FOR YOU AND AGAINST YOU? : 

▸ *rub my neck smile slightly* Well I think that question must be really pointing at me as I've debuted before. But as Olympian's I really practice hard to improve and try to bring out a different colors of myself. Having the attention when debuting again is really hard as I don't want to dissapoint people that previously support my solo career... I really hope they will still support not just me but also the Olympian members. 
     As you said Olympian's itself already become the attention to people as the only coed group, I guess we can always try to leave a great impact that make that attention into a good and better one. 
     As for those that against me, well... I will take that as a challenge to myself. There's always a bumpy road anywhere we heading to. I will try my best to show that my improve-self.
