I'll admit, although I was actually excited about the release of the movie "The edge of seventeen",I didn't set my expectations high, but man I was for once not disappointed with a teen movie that tackled the topic of depression.

I don't wanna retell the plot cuz it may ruin the fun or it may sound misleading, but I heavily recommend this movie

Nadine, acted by Hailee steinfeld, is seriously a relatable character, at least to me.

and THIS ONE! THIS SCENE IS WHAT GOT ME THE MOST, (like when you're depressed you don't realise how selfish you are, you start thinking only about your own problems not knowing that you're hurting others with your actions. You think you're the scum of the world in how you hate the way you act but don't know how to change it.ah I cried TT)

Hailee's acting is so convincing I'm quickly becoming one of her fans!

I definitely recommend this movie, it's actually really fun I really enjoyed it
