and by that...i mean...boygroups...male singers...haa...which you probly figured out from the stan talents :) part...but really the stan talent part has nothing to do with the main idea of this post n if you want to know the relevancy of it...you need to read the last part of this post)

i realized i've been giving way too much attention and chances to myself to get to know and like girlgroups way more than boygroups who i would just not bother even trying out full song after hearing/seeing snippet of their mv and just find them the same as every other group...actually, girlgroups have very few variety of style/sound/vibe too...but with boygroups...i feel they're more prone to give the 'same as every other one' vibe...and that's not a first impression that can make me wanna give a chance to try more...or maybe...i just feel like rooting for girlgroups more...or maybe girlgroups have a certain extra points somewhere...idk....

Anyway...i do talk about male singers if you noticed...but mostly i talked about and fangirl outdated ones, that no longer promotes in the present...or the non idols...rock bands, indie, nonmainstream...while for girlgroups i can still find something to gush about with some of the newer/current groups' releases....like i still keep tabs on most releases even from groups i don't even like...but with boygroups...no...

in fact, the last i got into fandom mode(but not really part of the fandom since i despise fandomism where you have to become irrational or you don't deserve to be called a fan) with boygroup...was with ZE:A....that's already some years ago...five? six? and even then...i became a fan not right away...and not because i gave a chance to their music...it's the case where i learn to like their music cuz i came to like them n their singing talents first...a case where i became a fan because i wanted to be a fan...all after watching their appearance in a radio show and finding them so likable and so good/talented...

Although after that, a few groups came into my radar...but not much...i came to like ChAOS...thought they're really good n their Kiss Kiss MV is too cool actually, that song n MV was what made me want to be a fan, heck even their live is soo good)...but then they disbanded....liked SoReal,...but that's mostly cuz there's Jangmoon from one of my former/and all time favs A'ST1 but they're really awesome i mean try this. who else...there are a few more but not the ones promoted in mainstream kpop...like J-BRO who only promote n release songs in Japan...(also bcuz there's Jungjin from A'ST1)....

But with me getting into Bulldok late last year during their debut time...i also got around to follow this chart kville that had Bulldok song...and from there...i was forced to learn a bit about the current boygroups through the snippets in the chart...while most still didn't manage to even make me want to listen to their full songs...a couple did went into my radar...

They're usually in the 30s-40s position in the chart...not very high for a boygroup...but i think they managed to stay in the chart till the end/max time...and the song sound kinda catchy albeit nothing new in the MV/them overall still same vibe with all other boygroups...but the few seconds of the song somehow sounded more interesting to me than the other boygroup songs there...

and i finally got meself brainwashed enough to give the full song a try and i liked it.

I tried their live perf and i liked them a little more. Not enough to make me a fan though they're really solid for a rookie...but enough to make me putting them into a list(that's quite empty) of groups i'd be looking out for...and the fact that they have just four members adds points...bcuz i'm so sick of groups with large numbers...over five...(although both my fav boygroups have more than five members Battle-6, ZE:A-9...lol)...i'm just sick of having to learn too many members...especially when they always look the same and idk....just....less is more. and i can appreciate them n their talents more too, with lesser members.

Recently...i somehow found that they had made comeback and since i already told myself to spend some time watching them cuz i might like it...i did just that...

And surprise? i like it, again.

There's nothing too fancy or outstanding about them...but there's something about them that i feel is different and enough to captivate me...the petty skeptic me, to give them some attention...i like how they don't feel too polished, yet there's something that feels promising about them, their music are catchy enough to not sound just like annoying noise like how i often feel with boygroup songs, there's just sth about their title songs that i like but can't really pinpoint what...and don't kill me but i don't find any of them particularly superb in looks department and that reason itself made them stand out in a good way...i like me some imperfections(well, in looks department...i prefer not too much imperfection in talents..and when i say talents here i'm referring to singing ability...i just can't stand singers who can't even sing...ugh..don't care if they're dance 'god/goddess' a singer needs to be able to sing)...idk if it's bcuz of their often horrid hair or i'm getting tired n bored of overly pretty flower boy with the generic same looks, and also, worth mentioning that the members were also involved in composing n lyrics writing though i understand that nowadays that's not uncommon with many idolgroups...but anyway...they also have this very rookie vibe/feel that i like...i haven't watch much other than their song n some perf or make more effort to get in fan zone...but after showing two promising round of promotion...i'm looking forward for more...you can be sure i'd definitely make a point to check out the next comeback too...and if good things continue...i might be a fan....heck with other boygroups the past few years...my interest wasn't even piqued by a lil so this is already a lot...-edit- and i just found that they're not super young like most groups too...finally a nonkiddy group...not like it change anything much but it's refreshing in an era where all the debuts are lil kids...no offense to you kids...as much as you might not find the appeal of ahjummas/ahjussis...i don't find the appeal of lil kiddies too...

I'll be honest that for a group that relies on vocals...i'm not that impressed...they might be good...but for vocal groups...i think it's important to have distinctive voices if not crazy amazing powerful vocals (SoReal has both...yes, and yet their company still managed to screw the talents they had without even trying other than debuting them n that's that...well, even the debut took wayyy too long to happen...and now the company's actually trying more with Imfact....why SoReal couldn't get same chance?) ...and i wouldn't say they have either one...but maybe bcuz i like the song and the fact that they're quite an underdog made me want to root for them...talking bout ballad/vocal groups might remind you of Vromance?...which idk much either but i came to know after seeing their fans promoting them everywhere as Mamamoo's brother group...and you know what? ironically...that way of promo actually made me like this Voisper group more for not being anyone's bro group but just a group on their own (and i even went to do some reading on them n found that they're actual school friends who then joined superstark6 together and then signed as a group together...now isn't that adorable?)....sorry that the other group may be just as talented or more but the way they're promoted by the fans, i just find it offputting, personally, the method just don't work on me...so yeah...

I might not be interested to stay for more since i'm not a big fan of ballad though i might like some...but yeah...ok i might give the next release a chance...who knows....

i blame their name that makes it so hard for me to keep tabs on their new releases and i don't think they have official channel on their own on youtube and mostly post their stuffs on their fb...so i had to go to Korean search engines to look for their new stuffs...even then...most results that come up would be of ladies code....oh the woes of a fan of a group with such name....(i think it suits them though...haha)

I actually have spazzed and fangirled them before, here. more than once, for sure.

They just have the kind of talent n passion that made me side-eye everytime i see ppl saying things like 'stan talents stan 'insert group name'...if you're saying you stan talents but you don't know don't care this one...i question your definition of talent....

actually that phrase is just annoying and obnoxious n cringy n on the silly side...better not to use it at all...haa...
