Yes, I've Always Loved It

Hmm...where do I begin...

Hi, everyone. This is asahdako. This would be my first and last blog about IOI and believe me, I could go all EMO like WTF once again.

IOI was never a big issue for me before. As Produce 101 was released, I only had dibs on the MBK girls, especially Chaeyeon, although there were bets like Mina and Somi.

As the episodes progressed, I noticed Sohye and her determination, the beauty of Doyeon, Pinky, and Nayoung, Sejeong and Yeonjung's power vocals and Chungha's dancing skills and Yoojung's trove of talents, especially when she became the center for PICK ME.

When the final judgment came, I had some opinions. I expected Somi, Sejeong, Kyulkyung, Chaeyeon, Mina, and Yeonjung to get into the final cut. Nayoung was one I didn't expect because she didn't have my appeal. Sohye's was common but seeing determination made me think she realli did deserve to be at the final cut. Chungha, being from a barely famous company was another unexpected favorite. She was like an epitome of trainees that really showed her potential throughout the show. Yoojung was like a next hop to a router wherein she was from D, then she got A, she became center, and really excelled herself and got third.

What a first phase, really. It felt like a dream. But they debuted as the IDEAL OF IDOLS, I.O.I.

Dream Girls was one of the best songs. I heard of it when Chaeyeon was said to sing the chorus. In general, it was an inspring song and MV as they depict of their dreams, even that certain dream that they finally debuted as a natinal group picked by producers from all over the world.

Even the dance was cool. There were also cute points like Sohye being in the center at the beginning, Yoojung and Nayoung's rap, and the oh-so-cute and beautiful visuals of each member.

It was a wonderful beginning for these eleven babies. I even had some syndromes wherein I would dance to the chorus because who wouldn't love such a cute dance? HAHAHA

It was a wonderful start. And when the promotions of OT11 were at rest, the OT7 couldn't get much sweeter.

I was at my computer networking class when I found out about the OT7 teaser video for Whatta Man. It was weird because my nose literally bled. Must have been because of the feels HAHAHA. They were all so PRETTY, ESPECIALLY SOHYE ADAJFNSJFABFHABF <3

Actually, everyone in the OT7 subunit had their charms. Kyulkyung had gone ier and got to hit that ad-lib. Somi had a more matured image. Nayoung and Doyeon were like models and Chungha and Yoojung showed off such fantastic skills.

The song has also made its way in winning in various music shows. As a fan, I couldn't be happier for my girls who worked hard. They deserved those awards.

*dances to Whatta Man* TEEHEE. Even Doyeon looks pretty here ajajfjksflsflbsflh <3

That was a whopping comeback. With that, I couldn't help but ponder when the new came that IOI will have their last comeback as OT11.

The Very Very Very era was happy and sad at the same time. Happy because of the concept on the song but sad because it was their last comeback. It was like they were still in Produce 101 and now they were havng their last MV, their last album, their last time together as IOI.

There were lots of things I thought about this concept: KANG MINA RAPPED. SHE ING RAPPED. HAHAHA. Nayoung did the PPAP gesture, the MV was colorful, almost having a vibe of RV's Russian Roulette, at least, that's what the crack videos say HAHAHA, and the choreography was cute. Another thing was Sejeong's 'JAKKU JAKKU', all y and HAHAHA

Seeing this end of the song breaks my heart everytime like OMFG WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY KPOP LIFE WITHOUT IOI? This song was really nice, even the other songs composed in Miss Me were very nice, especially Hold Up. I was so happy they had their first and last win as OT11. Not only that, they won in MAMA, Global Disk, even at SMA. It was really one period that changed my life because...never in my life I stan rookies. IOI was a first.

Downpour was a ing tearjerker. When the MV came in, I cried while it was played. With every repeat, I cried and cried. The song was so meaningful as it indicates the end of the flower road for these 11 pretty and talented girls, also a reminder that it was all okay. It's just a downpour.

Yeah. Sad. I may say that it's the end of the flower road but it's actually the beginning of a new flower road in their own seperate ways. IOI had a whopping year and I couldn't thank them enough.

My IOI fanfics were a symbol of an effect with IOI. I was privileged to write such stories that maybe shaped some lives of fans out there. With this kind of inspiration, I never thought I could express myself with a laptop, sometimes a smartphone.

Telecom Sisters was a first and was actually so inspiring as I thought of my siblings. IOI Shikshins expresses my admiration towards Mina and Sohye as a cute couple. All in the Full Moon was a whopper dedicated to Chaeyeon, Kyulkyung, and Sohye's perf. Quiant Relations was a sideline and I never thought the story could go into something deep and relevant as one falls in love. Unexpected Motives expresses my quiet self as I write a story on how the most silent of all people can love and be loved. How I See Myself in Five Years was a depict about how people always go back despite of the differences. Remember was my best legacy in my time writing IOI fanfics because it depicts almost anything that has shaped any person who could read it.

As of this juncture, I would be ending this journey. I thank all the readers who read my stories throughout the months. For now, I'll only update the covers, which were designed by yours truly. I've completed all stories and it's a time to say goodbye to the flower road.

Let me rephrase that. I say goodbye, but I know they're reuniting soon..and I'll make sure to standby.

Yes, I've always loved it. This has been asahdako. KAMSAHAMNIDA! *does bow*
