So it's 2017 and I'm crawling back from an unexpected winter break that featured a glorious chest infection, hurrah!

The Lost Years will resume shortly with a double/triple update, hurrah again! Also, work is less busy now so I can focus on writing in my spare time but before I do ANY of that, I'm gonna procrastinate and do this quiz because ... procrastination ... ;-;

1. What was your first story? When was it published? What was it about?

I wrote my first story when I was thirteen, it was a slashfic () about an english boyband called Busted and it was ing terrible lmao

14 years later, I'm still writing fanfics but I don't write anymore, it's mostly OC x EXO or original stories.

2. What's your favorite story you've written? And what's the plotline?

My current fanfic is probably my favourite story (The Lost Years) just because I've been planning/writing it since I got into EXO during the Growl Era. But I have a few unpublished ones sitting on my harddrive right now that I have a soft spot for and go back to every now and again when I'm having an editing block with The Lost Years. 

3. Have you ever written for a holiday/special occasion?

No.

4. What username did you publish your first story under?

HAHAHAHA I'm not letting you google search this xD It's so embarassing.

5. How many stories do you have (published) on aff? How many are complete?

I only joined AFF in July 2016 so only one so far. The way I work is that I don't post anything unless I've completed writing the first draft at the minimum and I tend to write long stories so #rip.

6. How many aren't published? 

There are currently seven unpublished/unfinished stories on my harddrive with chapters ranging from 1 to 48. There's a post-apocalyptic tragic love story featuring Kyungsoo as lead and a war/gang in a cyberpunk world one featuring Baekhyun. There is also a couple of stories that will never see the light of day LOL.

7. What helps you think or inspires you when writing fanfiction/stories?
Reading. I read a lot. :D This year my partner and I have planned to buy our first house together and one of the requirements I have is that it has to have a room where I can have a dedicated library for all my books.

8. What date did you join aff?

July 15th 2016. I posted on Livejournal, random forums and Wattpad before this on other usernames.

9. What was the first tag you looked up when you joined aff?
Probably EXO or Baekhyun.

10. Who are your top three favorite authors, and why?
On here or IRL? I don't really have specific favourite authors on here, just a lot of stories I love re-reading. IRL it's Garth Nix, Melvin Burgess and JK Rowling. I met Garth Nix at a book signing a few months ago :')

11. What is your opinion of kaistal?
I think they are cute together but this question is so random for the context of this quiz? Lol? 

12. What type of story are you most in your element writing? Is it something you write often?
Every single one of my stories is always set in another dimension, whether it be super fantasy like or just a parellel dimension. My strengths are fantasy, sci-fi and action and I will go out of my way to create a new world for every story I'm writing.

13. What type of story are you least in your element writing? 
I'm rubbish at writing slice of life, fluff or anything set in the 'normal/regular' world. 

14. What is one thing you hate seeing in comments?
I don't really have anything I hate seeing. I guess when someone completely misreads a character I've written and I'm like hmm... how could I have written it better? 

15. What sort of author's notes do you make? 
Short and sweet ones that end up turning into a rambling mess of words and emoticons. ¬_¬ 

16. Name three things you love doing when you write/update:

1. Creating a new world

2. Fantasizing about how characters would interact.

3. Reading new comments and welcoming new readers. 

17. What are you most insecure about in your writing?
I can't write and post as I go. I have to finish a story before I start posting it online and the stupid thing is, I have a weakness for writing ridiculously long stories so it can take me months to finish a new one before anyone will ever see the first chapter. 

18. What is your favorite band/pairing/whatever to write about? Why?
Right now, it's stories with Baekhyun or any of the other EXO members as lead x OC but I generally try anything that's either well written and is *different* (I browse the fantasy and sci-fi tags).

19. And your second favorite? Why?
... I secretly read/write a lot of Baekhyun/Kyungsoo because... reasons ... ~(≧◇≦)/ﾞﾞﾞﾞ but I said to a friend before, I'm too shy to post any of it LOL.

20. Name something you see in comments rather often:
WIth 'The Lost Years', it's mostly comments about people feeling sorry for Kyungsoo given what I've been doing to him lately. #I'msorry

21. Name a story you've neglected:
There was a story I started in early 2016 with Baekhyun x OC pairing that I really want to work on soon again.  

It's set in a cyberpunk-futuristic world where three military factions have been battling it out over territories for twenty years. OC is the daughter of the Leader of the Aeolus Faction whereas Baekhyun is the son of the Leader the Luxeus Faction. In an effort to seek peace and beat the Anteus Faction (the most powerful one), Baekhyun and OC's factions forge an alliance by marrying OC and Baekhyun together. OC doesn't want this though, she'd grown up hating the other factions and neither does Baekhyun.

The wedding day arrives and the ceremony is ambushed by the Anteus soldiers and everything goes to basically. Baekhyun and OC's parents get killed, the two factions become leaderless and get absorbed by the Empire of Anteus but Baekhyun and OC manage to escape with heavy injuries. It's a long road but they grow to stop hating each other, find a way to live in this new world that wants them dead and plan to avenge their families together.

I've written about thirty chapters but I stopped when I started publishing The Lost Years here on AFF. I plan to go back to it and publish it after The Lost Years is finished though.

Now to go back to editing :3
