College is so awful

For anyone who lives in Europe and is in college I envy you. College in the U.S. is ridiculously pricey and it's worse if you're out of state. Currently I'm at a two year university, but for my major (which isn't offered anywhere in my state) I have to go out of state probably in a pretty pricy University and if I'm lucky the tuition (per semester keep that in mind) would be 20 thousand. It's awful, if you go to University there's a very likely chance you'll be in debt and probably for the most of your life. If you're lucky you'll get a full-ride which pays for all the tuition, but if you're just average like me you'll most likely be paying between 15 thousand and higher. Becaues of this I've been looking at universities overseas that have degrees in art, but it's just slightly disheartening that I'd have to leave the country I'm a citizen of just to not be too much in debt. It , a lot, I guess I hate college so much because of how awfully high the tuition is I mean if it were cheapter like at least 5 thousand I'd feel a little better but it's not and I don't see it getting better. Sorry this is so negative, and I'm fairly certain I've done a post like this before, but yea college tuition in the U.S. and I might go to Singapore to study.

AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAA..... YES COLLEGE IN THE USA IS PRICEY AF Oh my gosh lets not get started on all the ing useless incurrent fees and and like WHAT AM I EVEN PAYING FOR IS THISS ALL REALLY NECESSARY LIKE UGH and also for ppl who were already strugglin' with like lunch plans in public hs... THIS IS A HUGE ENOURMOUS CHANGE Like holy now u gotta pay for expensive af colleges and still gotta work somehow.... ugh like can't evennnnn
(let's not talk about prices bc my parents pay much more than 15k... ahahahahaha.....) but yepppp COLLEGE VS HIGH SCHOOL IS THE WEIRDEST CHANGE EVER Like holy loans are great... until you realize that you need to loan everything bc the ing FAFSA gives u nothing bc they believe that ur parents can use their WHOLE INCOME TO PAY FOR THE SCHOOL like plz my parents have much better things to spend their money on... so no and yea.... it's ridiculously pricey and although i guess you're furthering ur education... can education rly be this pricey like COME ON

on the flip side i do sorta understand why college is so pricey. so they do have to pay the teachers as well as keep the departments (that need like fancy equipment) running. so professors need to get the funds to do their research and labratories need to be maintained in order to be doing legit research... so idealists would say that colleges should just rely on donations, however college campuses are much more difficult to maintain bc of the fact that they're larger and bc of the fact that certain colleges are more well known than others, the smaller colleges would eventually die bc they'd have no fundings if they had to survive only on donations... that being said, college is still incredibly pricey regardless and i'm not sure if there's really anything to DO at this point... but yanno cry
so yea im really hoping im not wasting my parents money by going to a pricey out of state college...

I think education should be free for everyone . We learned for survival and to help yield for more productivity .

You're right. A lot of colleges here are very expensive. My brother is a freshman this year, but he is going to a Bible College and his is very affordable compared to the prices you mentioned. His runs about 6,000 a semester. I hope you'll be able to find somewhere that you can go without all the crazy expense.
