So I'm sure you're here because you wanted to hear about my experience visiting Bighit entertainment haha. But first, let me tell you a little about my trip to Korea. 

As most of you might know if you read my fics, I was overseas from 12 November to 26 November. I actually went to China to visit my mum's relatives and then went to Korea from there (because it's cheaper lol).

I was in Korea from 17 November to 21 November & oh my gods, it was the best five days of my entire life 😍

Here's a rough summary of my trip below:

 

17/11 - Arrival in Korea (yESSSS) + Visit to Gyeongbokgong & sauna experience (it was lit)

18/11 - WHERE DID WE GO AGAIN oh right ginseng showroom, kidney herb thing showroom, cosmetics department store & last but definitely not least, the highlight of the day EVERLAND !!

19/11 - (1st FREE DAY) Myeongdong, K-Star Road, The Min's Cafe & Hongdae

20/11 - (2nd FREE DAY) Garousigil, iBighit entertainment, Ewhwa Women's University (in case you are wondering, this is a place to shop LMAO), Namsan Tower & Dongdaemun

21/11 - Some grocery store in the morn & flight back to China T_____T

 

I will only be covering in details about the places highlighted in red :)

The Min's Cafe

 

Okay so the main reason I wanted to visit The Min's was because Bangtan used to ALWAYS frequent there and Changmin's mum really loves them. From blog posts I read, it seems like a hotspot for ARMYs so I went lol why not check it out.

So yeah we went there after going to K-Star road (both of them are in Apgujeong Rodeo) & I was still pretty high from seeing the BTS bear at K-Star road earlier on HAHAH.

Below is the BTS bear at K-Star road!

       

I was together with my mum and my aunt. They were pretty curious and confused as to why the heck I was so pumped to visit a cafe lol. 

The first thing we saw when we entered was boom---Changmin's mum omg.

I wasn't really sure if she was actually Changmin's mother so after she welcomed us in I basically asked her in (broken) Korean if she was Changmin's mother. The conversation basically went like this. 

 

Me: Oh hi, are you perhaps Changmin's mother?

Her: Ahh yes I am!

Me: Oh nice to meet you! Is Changmin here? 

(( There was this other guy working there but I wasn't sure if he was Changmin >< ))

Her: Oh he is not. Changmin came in today at 8 in the morning & ate breakfast with his dad. He left shortly afterwards. (she said this in a sad tone lol she's so sweet)

Me: Oh I see, that's okay! I'm actually a fan of BTS ^^

Her: Ahhh yes I can tell from the mask you are wearing. Have you liked them for a long time?

(( I was wearing a black mask with the words BTS on top lol, I pulled it down when I talked to her but she could still make out the words )) 

Me: Yes!! (answers with enthusiasm LOL) 

Her: Ahh we really like them too. Have a seat, I'll bring you the menu!

Me: Thank you!

 

(( she brings over the menu which was black paper with handwritten menu items))

 

Her: (pointing at the first drink) This is the Lemon Ade, it is really refreshing & one cup contains six lemons (okay I actually forgot if she said three or six haha my bad sorry)

Me: ahhh~

Her: ((recommends a few more drinks)) and this is the raspberry grapefruit ade, members of BTS love this

 

So basically after she recommended a few drinks I ended up ordering the raspberry grapefruit ade & two cups of cappuccino for my mum and aunt. The drinks came really quickly and I had to return to seat as I was too busy exploring the tiny cafe lol. 

I forgot to mention that Changmin's mother directed us to the long white table which BTS sat at in the picture that is framed inside the cafe. And of course, I had to sit at hoseok's seat sigh because this guy drives me nuts. 

The drink I ordered was BOMB. It was so good. Even if BTS did not recommend it, I'll still order it again in a heartbeat. It was basically sparkling raspberry grapefruit water with real raspberry bits omg yes can you imagine how refreshing the drink is? 

The cafe itself was really super pretty. The walls were decorated with signed kpop albums and loads and loads of BTS stuff like albums, signed posters and they were even playing bangtan's songs from O R U L8 2 era. The drinks were not too pricey considering that this was a cafe too, so we were super happy about that. 

 

Rating: 10/10 would come again.

iBighit Entertainment

 

And then on that day we basically took the subway to sinsa station which is where bighit was located. It was a lovely lovely morning and I remembered the weather was just right, not too hot and not too cold. A little windy, but that's alright ^^ I have my mask. 

 

We didn't visit bighit right away as I wanted to look around the area first. So we headed to garousigil which is a super hip street with all the cool and modern stuff that is quickly becoming very popular. My stupid self forgot to take pictures there :(

And then when we were done looking around, we went to bighit AAAAAAAA

The climb uphill was t i r i n g omg. But when we finally did see this lovely building with blue windows, I have to say that it was all worth it.

I still couldn't believe that I was there. I was actually there, right outside bighit. I basically took a minute or two to actually confirm that I'm there and not dreaming lol. 

Once again, I was surprised by how little people there was. When I reached there, I could only see two people. A guy, and a girl. They were standing away from each other so I assumed that they were strangers as well.

Sooooo....here are the pictures I took there HAHA. (don't mind my ugly face)

 

I met someone while I was there. It was basically the girl I mentioned earlier. 

I was walking around the building when we walked past each other. We kinda smiled at one another so I approached her and asked if she was a BTS fan. The convo kinda went like this xD

Me: Heyy...are you a fan of BTS?

Her: Oh yeah! Actually my sister really likes them so I'm kind of just a side fan I guess haha

(( we started to walk together))

Me: Ahhhh~ Where are you from?

Her: Indonesia! What about you?

Me: omg I'm from Singapore, so we're basically neighbours haha

Her: Yeah I guess we are HAHA

(( then we just asked each other for our age and I'm not going to disclose that here for private matters ahaha but she is only one year older than me))

Her: I reached here around noon and I heard shouting coming from above. It sounded like a bunch of people screaming happily and I was wondering if it was BTS because of the Daesang they won yesterday.

Me: WOWOWOWO you heard screaming?

Her: Yeah! But I wasn't sure if it was Bangtan ahaha

Me: That's great~ it's sooo quiet now haha

 

It was really quiet lol. We basically just chatted and I got super jumpy everytime a black car drove past because I kept thinking bangtan might be in those cars lol.

 

Her: I went to Melon Awards Yesterday.

Me: WHA WHA WHAAAT OH MY GODS

Her: Yeahh haha *blush blush* I won two tickets at some giveaway back home so that's way I came here. 

Me: *still not over it* SO YOU SAW THEM LIVE

Her: Yeahh haha I sat pretty far but the performance was lit

Me: *STILL hyped af* OMGOMGOMG YOU HAD THE PRIVILEDGE TO SEE THEM IN THE FLESH 

Her: YEAHH omg I actually saw them for the first time when they came to Indonesia for a fanmeet. 

Me: Wowww! What did they did?

Her: Well there was a Hi-touch event and I bought the ticket for that ahaha

Me: *is completely stunned* So you high-fived them all?

Her: Yeah omg I couldn't believe I did

Me: *incoherent squealing* SKSKSKDJIFDMOMSO You are so lucky!!

 

SHE IS REALLY LUCKY. To see BTS twice? Dammnnn I would give everything just to see them once ughh *heart eyes*

Anyways, we continued standing outside and talking before we got hungry. So my mum and I asked her if she wanted to join us for lunch at the subway nearby and she agreed! :D 

We had a really nice time eating and talking together and we finished eating first, so I asked my mum if I could walk her back to bighit entertainment before coming back again.

She agreed so I walked my new friend back ((the tedious climb again lol) and this time we went up to the balcony-ish(?) place and took some pictures with one another lol. We exchanged social media accounts and promised to keep in touch :')

And then I left because she wanted to stay for much longer and my mum and I had more stuff on the itinerary that we had to do. T___T but trust me if I was alone, I would have stayed there till dinner time or smth lol.

So in conclusion, I did not manage to see BTS but I was glad nonetheless. Being there made me feel super tingly and giggly and it was really fun closing my eyes and imagine bangtan as tired little trainees going home after a tiring day, and seeing the exact same view before my very eyes. 

I was also honoured that I got to meet her. We still talk nowadays on instagram and all I can say is that if you are a fan of BTS, definitely visit once. 

Rating: disappointed but happy/10
