I'm sorry but I really need to talk about this. I know that many people already talked about it and you can close this blog if you don't wanna go any further.

I'm an ARMY and an EXO-L too and I don't understand why those two fandoms can't stop their childish 'fanwar'. The two groups are both amazing and even if I admit that I prefer BTS, I don't ever say that they are better than EXO because it is disrespectful. The thing is, some EXO-Ls (and surely ARMYs too) really need to be given a lesson. You may have already heard about it but at the MMA when BTS performed, almost all EXO-L's turned their lightsticks off and didn't cheer for BTS. I understand that you can not like BTS because not everyone like their music but at least be respectful. The same thing occurred at the MAMA yesterday and I really find this unacceptable. I'm not trying to bring EXO-Ls down, don't misunderstand, and I know that all ARMYs aren't as respectful as they should be, but I really think that this stupid war is going too far. While you're all here fighting over which group is the best you forget that they are humans too, that they have feelings and that you can hurt them. They read everything people say about them on the net even if they don't talk about it. You also forget to give them the respect they deserve. I also know that most of the international fans aren't in this war but if you are (or if you know someone who is in it), I'd really like you to know that you cannot call yourself a fan. You can support your group but if you bring down or insult another one to do it, you're not what I can call a fan. And I don't think that when EXO or BTS thank their fans they thank those kind of people. They thank the people who wholeheartedly cheer for them and for other groups too, be it EXO, GOT7 or any other group.

I have some words to say about ARMYs too. Yesterday I was on social networks and I saw some people saying that EXO don't deserve the award of the Best Album Of The Year. This is total bull. Of course, you want BTS to win the award of the Best Album Or The Year but EXO really deserve it. They work really hard, as everyone. Some other people said that they don't deserve it because they don't write their songs themselves. BTS don't write all of their songs themselves (even Seventeen don't write all of their songs themselves). So if you're on social networks to say things like that, let me tell you something: you just need to shut up and sit where you are because if you were in EXO's shoes you'd feel insulted and if you were in BTS' shoes you'd feel ashamed. Ashamed because they surely don't want their fans to think like that. EXO and BTS are part of the most respectful groups I've seen in K-Pop and I've been here for a very long time. If you were there when the second and third generations were born, you wouldn't say those things. So I hope that from now on, people will just sit calmly and shut their mouths or I really won't give a single about what everyone is feeling and just say things as I think them.
