Okay guys. This might seem a little strange but hear me out. I've been playing this phone game called Love Live School Idol Festival and I fell in love with it. Basically it's a rhythm game that you tap notes to while the song plays. The game comes from an anime called Love Live. The anime takes place in Japan and these 9 girls form a school idol group to get more people to enroll in their school so it doesn't shut down.

Anyways, because there's 9 members of the girls and 9 members of EXO, my brain suddenly though "LOL let's give each Love Live character and replace her with an EXO member that she resembles." 

SO I DID.

For those of you that know what show I'm talking about this will probably just be a hilarious post for you. You can agree or disagree with my placements and even suggest some of your own if you want.

For those of you who don't, I wholeheartedly suggest watching the anime and downloading the game. I guarentee you become OBSESSED. It's not safe.

Anyways, here are my choosings for each member. (Since the Love Live girls are in highschool, I'll go by third years, then second, then first. So oldest-youngest.)

THIRD YEARS

Eli Ayase = Kim Joonmyun (Suho)

Eli Ayase (Ayase Eli) is a third year and the President of the student council. She is also best friends with current vice president Nozomi Tojo. She is also the decided leader of the girl group they form because she is respectful, responsible, and tries to keep the girls on their toes. She is also very cool under pressure and does not like others to see her when he is feeling sad or any other negative emotion. In the game I play there is a story in which she is related to being the dad of the group. This is why I decided to relate her with Joonmyun. Both of them are among the oldest and share common personality characteristics with each other, including being the leader of their group.

Nozomi Tojo = Zhang Yixing (Lay)

I chose Yixing as Nozomi Tojo (Tojo Nozomi). Now, Nozomi love napping and one of her favorite hobbies is fortune telling or tapping into her 'spiritual powers' in order to make the lives of everyone around her better. She is the best friend of Eli and calls her Eli-chi as well as the VP of the student council. While Nozomi is normally kind, she has a slight preverted streak, including grabbing the girls' s whenever they have disappointed her or done something they shouldn't have. She calls it her "washi washi" technique. She describes herself as the mom of the group and her biggest dream (revealed in the game) includes living in one house with the girls so they can be together forever. I think this describes our wonderful unicorn very well. I see him as a co-leader with Joonmyun now that Kris is gone. He loves s dearly and I think he really does want their friendship to last years to come. Under his mask of being oblivious I believe he is very serious about things that go on around him. Let's not forget his unicorn healing powers, which go wonderful with Nozomi's love of fortune telling and "spiritual powers." Is one of my million OTPs showing yet? 

Nico Yazawa = Byun Baekhyun

Now, I paired Nico with Baekhyun for (kind of) few reasons. This may be one you would debate. Now, Nico is known for being very boisturous and happy-go-lucky. She cares about being an idol and her catch phrase is "Nico-nico-nii!!" which I believe means "Nico-Nico-smile!" When she is in this persona she tends to talk in third person. Even though she is the oldest she is seen as very childish and young. She is the one that is under Nozomi's washi-washi attacks most often because she isn't a very studious individual. Throughout the show it is seen that she loves terrorizing Maki, though it seems to be love-hate. I paired her with Baekhyun mostly because of his own very playful nature. While he is seen as a puppy who doesn't take anything seriously, he loves being an idol and everything it comes with. I love his smile personally and I think it pairs well with Nico's catchphrase. Later when I reveal who Maki is you may understand why I paired him with Nico too. ;)

SECOND YEARS

Hinoka Kousaka = Kim Jongin (Kai)

I paired Jongin with Honoka because they are both the "face" of their groups. In my opinion, they are both the most well known. Honoka is the most noticable character that people relate to Muse, and Jongin is the one most people say relate to EXO. They are both very sunny and cheery people, with a passion that burns bright for what they do. Honoka was determined to save their school and after the group formed, she wouldn't stop until they got to the very top of the idol world. I think Jongin has this very same drive but definitely takes it upon himself to try and get EXO to succeed. They also both have sisters if that can be related haha. 

Umi Sonoda = Do Kyungsoo

I paired Kyungsoo with Umi Sonoda. Umi is best friends with Kotori and Honoka and has been since childhood. She is a very serious and disciplined individual who loves sweets and hates slacking off. She is very studious and takes her position in archery club equally as serious as she does Muse. Umi has no patience for Honoka especially when Honoka doesn't study for exams or takes issues lightly when she really shouldn't. She gets embarrassed easily and doesn't like being watched by a crowd of people but warms up to the idea of being an idol quickly. DO and Umi share similar characteristics in which they are very grounded people and I'm sure Kyungsoo takes his singing very seriously. There's no doubt in my mind that he disciplines himself and other members when things aren't done correctly. Both of them also have one of the better voices in both their groups (personal opinion don't hate me I love all my babies).

Kotori Minami = Kim Jongdae (Chen) (Don't hate me for the picture I couldn't find any other good pictures on Photobucket T^T)

Now this is another one I randomly threw in because I had no idea where to place Chen or where I wanted him but I ended up pairing him with Kotori. Kotori, down to it, is a wonderful cinnamon bun who needs to be protected at all cost. She has a fashion interest and wants to be a designer when she gets older. She also has a weird obsession with the alpacas her school keeps as pets. She is a genuinely cheery person who tends to find the good in every situation though she does get embarrassed easily. She is known for having her head in the clouds and often has trouble expressing her feelings because she tends to take everyone's feelings into consideration before her own. She often has Honoka and Umi make decisions for her. I paired her with Chen because I think Chen is one of the members who shows continuously that he genuinely cares about his friends. While he is seen as the troll and joke-maker Sehun even calls him mom because of his tendancy to care for others before himself. Like Kotori, he is very sweet and only wants to help in any way he can. Not to mention both are super cute.

FIRST YEARS

Maki Nishikino = Kim Minseok (Xiumin) (Baozi)

I paired Minseok with Maki. Now, Maki is the songwriter for Muse and one of the youngest members. She's extremely stubborn and has a hard time admitting her feelings to her friends and family. She is also somewhat childish and is seen as a loner most of the time. This can be viewed when she doesn't join in on group activities or things she deems too "childish" or "immature". Her personality clashes harshly with Nico's, causing them to bicker back and forth on the daily. She enjoys photography and stargazing and is incredibly intelligent, able to score full marks on homework and exams. I can see Minseok as Maki simply because I feel like he has quite a few personality traits that resonate very well with Maki. He is a very mature person and I feel like he hates asking for help from his peers or actually admitting his emotions in an attempt to be a hyung or someone that is seen as strong. On various variety shows and blogs he demonstrates his intelligence, showing that he's a pretty smart cookie. It is also revealed that he is able to get EXO's dance moves down very easily and while Maki isn't the choreographer or the group's best dancer, they both do their very best to succeed. Like I mentioned earlier, does anyone else notice how Minseok's in constant fight mode when Baekhyun's around? Like Maki and Nico, their personalities may crash a bit harshly sometimes. But there's still love there.

Rin Hoshizora = Park Chanyeol

Rin is a definite tomboy, as seen in the anime where she is very wary of wearing skirts and dresses because they make her uncomfortable. She is very energetic, sporty, and active. One key thing about her is she has tried to hug every Muse member both succeeding and failing in some attempts. Rin is a very determined and hardworking members but she deeply cares about other people's opinions about her. She also tends to end all her sentences with "Nya~!" which means "Meow~!" She is best friends with Hanayo and has been since childhood. I paired her with Chanyeol because they are both extremely happy people and full of boundless energy that neither seem to know what to do with. Both are also extremely affectionate with their friends. A downfall to both (while not so obvious on Chanyeol's part) is that they care deeply of what other people think of them instead of thinking how hard they worked and how much they know they can do. I think both of them are definitely the most energetic of both groups and the most optimistic in their own way. Rin and Chanyeol are the perfect match. Fun fact: Rin, Nico, and Hinoka are nicknamed "The Three Idiots" because they have a hard time studying and passing their exams/taking them seriously. xD While it's only 2/3 of the beagle line, it sums things up pretty well.

Hanayo Koizumi = Oh Sehun

Hanayo is one of the youngest members of Muse as well as the most enthusiastic (about being an idol of course). She is best friends with Rin and has wanted to be an idol since childhood, but never could because of how shy she is. Stated before, she is a shy, quiet character who rarely voices her opinions. Hanayo is also very reserved and let's people make decisions for her. Since she hangs out with Rin a lot, she lets Rin make decisions and often follows her lead, though Rin always tries to encourage her to be her own person. She loves white rice (and is quite the glutton) and is the caretaker of the alpacas at the school. She also often looks down on herself for her appearence, as she thinks she is overweight or not pretty enough to be an idol. I cannot really say why I paired her with Sehun. At first it was because of how young both of them were. Then I thought of the Sehun that we may not see behind the screen. While it's not always seen directly, I notice that Sehun does kind of expect the other members to take care of him. It's not out of spite or entitlement, but I feel like the real Sehun is a very shy and gentle person who gets his feelings hurt easily, so he doesn't open up to many people. You can see his enthusiasm for being an idol and it's what fuels him to be better everyday. Chanyeol and Sehun are also good friends and knew each other when they were younger so I thought it would be a good match. Also, Hanayo (while being the sweet cinnamon bun she is) does have a good voice, she isn't heard singing often, quite like Sehun (but when he does get to sing NOT RAP BUT SING my heart melts).
