Question about AFF Album Giveaways

I was just wondering how legit are the contests that states that their prizes are album giveaways? Like, has anyone actually won a graphic/writing contest and receieved an album as a prize? Or does the author usually abandon the contest before anything can be given?

Also if you guys know any giveaways for K-Pop merchandise, please let me know! (Yes, I'm too lazy to find things on my own lol).

probably not most but there are contests out there that really do give out merchandise. like my friend, hvnbns, she won a taeyang writing contest and she got his special edition RISE album and a lightstick + other korean products. So, if you want to join contests with merch as prizes, make sure to ask the author if she/he will really see it through that the prizes are going to be given

based on what i've seen the majority of contests are abandoned just when it's time to announce the winners
so yeah, i doubt most of them are actually legit (especially the ones w physical prizes like albums, though i guess there's no harm in trying?)
if the author is really flexible with the requirements (like he/she accepts any group, any genre, any length, etc.), then you can kindof tell it's fake because it's highly unlikely that they'll spend a bunch of their own money on buying and shipping prizes when they could get a bunch of stories they won't even like
also there are tons of kpop giveaways on youtube and kpop amino (especially ones from the latter seem pretty legitimate), so it shouldn't be too hard to find some if you look around a bit
