So, a friend lit up what’s left of my dying Yulsic heart today. The conversation went this way:

Friend: Is Jessica and Yuri dating? I think they’re dubbed as Yulsica…?

Me: (quite shocked yet secretly hopeful) What? Where’d you get that from?

Friend: I saw a photo from a popular thread in social media. Yuri was holding Jessica quite intimately.

*my friend recreated the photo*

Friend: It’s like how a boyfriend would be all possessive when it comes to his girl.

Me: (internally dying) Is that a recent photo?

Friend: I think so.

Me: (still hopeful) How could that be? Jessica already left the group.

Friend: Oh yeah. Then, it must not be a recent photo.

Me: (still dying)

It was nothing, really. But it just made me so happy that someone who’s outside the fandom asked me that particular question. My friend was a “victim” of Yulsic’s intimacy. Hahaha. Forgive my overreaction.
