Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, have you seen it?! KYAAA

Hallo, people! We meet again. This time, I am going to rant about “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” because… why the hell not?

Okay, I just went to the movies today to watch the film. As expected, we all have high expectation for the film, and it's worth it (I swear it is!). I was on the edge of my seat since the first second it was started. The opening theme sent chills down my spine and I realized it has been years since the last time I heard it in the movies. The WB logo that zoomed in to us was very nostalgic, too. The story was original and I have not read it yet (until now), so I was absolutely in the blank as I watched the film. I didn’t know what to expect—which was quite refreshing for me, after watching films adapted from something (like the superheroes films and such that are currently very popular) that I usually have known a lot of the background, and bits of stories nicked to build the picture. I am glad I didn't watch the trailer, too. I am now perfectly content.

Newt Scamander has the personality of a true geek, I think, someone whose social life I could easily relate. Not to mention he loved creatures and he spoke to them more fluently than he to his fellow humans. This I love the most from him. He is like super cool nerd at school who at making friends in school, but triumphantly excels in particular field and succeeds in his future. I find his love for the creatures is too irresistible. Reminds me of myself for cooing after chicks and snakes (lol)

This film, however, gives highlights that we didn’t actually expect, though. The first thing that I noticed and admired was that MACUSA had not only a female president, but a black female president. This is admirable because even now, in USA, there hasn’t been a woman positioned that high in society. The MACUSA president is the equivalent of the president of the USA, man, just as UK’s Minister of Magic is equal to Prime Minister. This story, however, takes place decades ago. This emphasizes how far civilized magic society compared to its non-magic counterpart. Come on, USA, is that hard to even let a white woman lead you?!

The only downside of USA magic society is their choice of words. Very poor and uncreative, I’d say. I mean, “No-Maj”? Really? “Muggle” sounds so much more sophisticated. No offense, but that also shows how simple Americans are, even the magic society. Hahaha.

The story was actually quite predictable when you know the basic story (as in magic world history and Newt Scamander’s later published book), but it was very enjoyable. I truly felt spoiled because of the little surprise in the end (which I am not going to mention at all, in case of spoiler). I knew it all along, but I just didn’t expect to see that. Hahaha.

What’s more enjoyable was the love story. The romance was super adorable, I think. I found it cute that one pair was obviously in love with each other, adult way—while the other was doing a fifth-graders’ romance (lol). Really, I think you should watch this. Well, if you like Harry Potter series, surely you will without even told. I can’t wait until the Blu-ray is released. I want to watch it again. Hahaha.

On the side note, my beloved readers, I have decided to join 2PM2PM2PM’s writing festival called 2PM Brighter Days (Minjun's day is approaching! Don't forget to check it out at January 1st, friends!). I will write for Nichkhun (March 1st), Taecyeon (May 1st), and Chansung (October 1st) days, although perhaps I will re-publish my work for Minjun for his day of honour. Of course, I will write TaecKhun fanfics for Nichkhun and Taecyeon’s days. I plan to make oneshot focusing on Nichkhun and then Taecyeon. I have had a fresh idea for Khun, but I have yet to find anything for Taec. I plan to put old prompt for Taec until I am thunderstruck with astounding idea specifically for Taec. As for Chansung, I will write a story about him and an original character (who is a girl). I don’t know why, but I am only able to write Chansung with a girl. It will have TaecKhun as established couple, too (lol). For some reason, I have never been able to write anything with Junho and Wooyoung as the main. I like them a lot, but I guess the divine force that leads me to my writing doesn't like them that much (lol). Sorry, boys.

I look forward to many stories produced for this festival (I will have to read many, many of them later when I am not too busy to write lol). Please await for the release of my stories as well as our friends’. It will be super fun!

I really put in weird rants in my blogs (lol) Until the time I want to ramble aimlessly again.
