style — Byul apperance is not really have the feminine vibe but she can be seen as one of those girl crush. With her charming smile and charismatic eyes. For her style, she mostly wear long pants and a tank top covered with hoodies or jacket. For her as long as the clothes are comfortable she will wear it. She not picky when it comes to fashion for her simple is nice enough but she do love wearing bracelet and rings cause she felt like she's without those thing on her hand.

personality — 

Friendly + Charismatic : If leave it to her look itself she might look arrogant but actually she is a friendly person that can easily be friend with anyone. Once someone talk to her they can find that she actually are not that kind of person who push away people and be by herself. She love helping others if its in her power to do so. Someone that knows her for too long might find her a bit protective. She have this charismatic aura because of her look which can easily make any fan girl like her. She do give this Un-Pa (Unnie like Oppa) vibe to the girls surround her. because of her care and protective attitude.

Passionate + Fast-Learner - She love what she do. Rap is like her source to rant or even to let out her feeling. Her passion toward music starts when she was 15 and eventually listening to those rap kind of attract her in new light. She get into a group of some underground rap member where she learn from some of the friend there. she can easily learn the important stuffs needed when rapping and she even perform together with her member in underground group. 

Clumsy + Blunt - As cool as she can look, beware of your surrounding. Byul can be really clumsy at times and mostly happen in kitchen. She is one bad cooker so never let her go near kitchen if you don't want your kitchen as mess as it can even possibly be. Byul will always speak her mind of out loud. Sometimes she don't even think the outcome from her talk. This might not happen always but when it happen it somehow can get her in trouble. 

Determine + Challenging - Never ever challenge Byul in anything. She will make sure she get the challenge done. She can be stubborn and always pushing her limit. Once she was critized by a stranger who said that her rap are lack of truth and just throwing random words. She determine to fix those by practicing whole week without care about her surrounding.

background — 

Byul was born and raised in Seoul. Her parent are not really come from wealthy family but its enough for them to live well in the uptown in Seoul. She is her parent only child since after her born, her mother come to an illness where she can't give birth again. So being the only child Byul literally get everything she want. 

She goes to Seoul Performing Art during her high school year. There she learn mostly about music, she starts by taking vocal lesson and learn to play piano. But one day when she was come late from school she saw one street performance where people there show their rap skills. She got attract with the performance as she stays there until the performance over. 

The next day she come again to the exact place and with courage in her she asked to joining the group and told them she want to learn rap. The group look at her somehow in curious but since she really really want to learn so they taught her all they can. And just within a year she improved really well and even can perform with the group on street. 

When YG decide on having an open audition, the whole crew decide to join the audition. In audition they perform as solo instead making a duet rap or group rap. And luck maybe on Byul side where she got accepted in the audition and even get to have a great mentor for her training there at YG.

trainee life — 

Trainee life for Byul is somehow in weird but good situation. Her mentor for her position somehow got to be T.O.P and Mithra Jin. Those two guys can really come in full hand. At first when she heard about her mentor she really stressed about it. As T.O.P and Mithra are one legend rapper in their group. She thought she will get one hell of a practice. but that doesn't turn out as what she thought. The mentor session is rather calm and fun way. The mentor's always give her point that should be stressed out when its come to rap. She learn rap from her mentor really well and improved by a lot compare to when she's come after her audition.

But in term of dancing, she who come from not really good dancer can be a really one of good dancer. She practiced dancing really hard. Starting from one of the trainee that always left behind now she can dance really well and learn any dance fast. 

In term of relationship with other trainee, she can click well with every trainee as she like the feeling of having a friend and members that trained together to achieve something in future. 

family —

✩Song Hang Kyu (45) | Office Worker | Father | both of them really close with each other. Since Mr Song dream to have a son but with the unfortunate news he kind of treat Byul like a son. They spent time together playing all ball type of sport. He taught Byul basketball, soccer and even baseball. When Byul told him that she got accept in YG for rap. At first he don't really like the idea but seing how happy his daughter can be, he agree and hope that she can achieve a good career in future. 
 

✩Kim Hye Min (43) | House Wife | Mother | Byul is really realy close with her mother. She is the person Byul always tell story to about everything that happen to Byul. She decide to be a house wife because she think that maybe if she work Byul will left alone at home and will feel lonely. So being a house wife she spend almost the whole day with Byul. For Byul she is her rolemodel. She want to live like her mother, be one of the most lovely and caring mother.

✩Moon Yoo Mi (22) | Dance Teacher | Best Friend | They know each other start from their first year in high school. Both of them attend the same school, same class, and even same course but Yoo Mi more about dancing. Yoo Mi knows about Byul audition and support her for that. Yoo Mi who is really good at dancing was first asked by Byul to join her as well in audition but rejected because Yoo Mi like be the dance teacher in the dance academy she work at. And she never once thought of going to be idol or work in entertainment field as its not what she think she capabale of.

Byul know how weird T.O.P can be but when she saw it by herself, he really are weird over the top. As weird as he can be, Byul think that he is one fantastic mentor as he guide her well to improve and sharpen her rap. 

✩ Mithra Jin (33) | Idol/Rapper | Mentor | Mithra at first look he really a scary but when she got to know him, he can be one funny guy and a clumsy one to be exact. He know how to crack joke well. As funny as he can be, when it comes to rap and train session he can be strict about it. For Byul sometimes Mithra give this fatherly vibe which Byul love as she thought about her father. 

✩ iKON Bobby (21) | Idol | Friend | Byul first saw Bobby when she first asked by text message by her mentor to meet them at the recording studio. She somehow enter the wrong studio which end up the studio where bobby was in. She at frist thought Bobby is her mentor but after showing the text she receive to Bobby, he told that was Mithra phone number and told the correct studio she have to go. When she in trouble with composing or rap, Bobby somehow always there to help her. Both of them really close with each other and with both friendly vibe they had its more easy for them to click well.

✩ iKON Bobby, "iKON's Bobby have been seing going out with one of YG trainee", Bobby and Byul spend a lot of time together improving her rap. Bobby like to help her out when he have time to do so. They mostly spent time at YG's Cafe. When the news come out, YG release a statement telling the reporters that both of them are not in romantic relationship and agree with the fact that they both are close like Noona-Dongsaeng.

✩Who is your trainer? what was training under that trainor like?

I was put under Mithra and T.O.P sunbaenim. Both of them are really a good mentor. At first I thought the training will be hard and pressure but it seems like sunbaenim-deul is a friendly and funny mentor to learn with. They really focus on improving my rap and performance. They thought me what important when it come to rap which at first I don't even thought that was the main point that need to be polish.

✩how do you feel debuting as ikon's female counterpart?

At first its actually hard and pressure to actually debut as iKON sunbaenim female counterpart. iKON sunbaenim really are one great group and known well in wide world. Sunbaenim have encraved their name and their song are really great. I am honor to be debuting as their counterpart. I'm sure all the members will work hard so that we can bring up JUNO to the wide world as well.  

✩what do you think of your members?

I really like + love my members. They are like my second family. Grow up as an only child make me really happy that now I have unnie and dongsaeng that I can be together with. Even though all of us are come from different background, we unite quite well and training, practicing, dancing and create music with them are like the best thing can happen. 

✩in the future, who are the artists you'd want to collaborate with, if given the chance?

Hmmm.. to collaborate hmm.. There's is a lot of great sunbaenim out there, but id i had a chance maybe for the first time I would like to collaborate with my mentors first. I was thinking of some exciting performance which me, T.O.P and Minthra Sunbaenim can bring on stage. 

Beside them I would like to collaborate with iKOn Sunbaenim maybe with Bobby sunbaenim. Since my position is focusing on his counterpart. It will a great stage to collaborate with. 

As a rapper, I also like to collaborate with the vocal line. So there's a few Sunbaenim I would like to collaborate with such as Gummy sunbaenim, Bom Sunbaenim, Taeyang Sunbaenim and maybe some other vocal line sunbaenim outside YG.
