Ilkwon is a great many things. He is first and foremost a confident guy. Or at least he appears to be. He has the looks for it after all. However as a result he can be quite vain and tends to go to great lengths to show it. Sometimes you may catch him touching himself up constantly while looking in a mirror. Or you may hear about how obviously great he is. However despite his vain nature he is quite an affable person. Easy to approach and easy to talk to. Maybe it's because despite his vanity he knows how to take a joke or even make one at his own expense. Albeit rarely I might add. Instead he much prefers to poke fun at other people and for the most point that'd be his own members, such as the blobfish and the pufferfish.
However there are two he doesn't touch at all and there's a reason for that. But we'll get there eventually. Because despite his joking nature he can be quite flirty to those of the opposite . He calls it his natural charm. While others would say it's his confidence or maybe it's his vanity paying off. However despite all that and the way he openly acts in front of others. He holds problems close to his heart and rarely talks about such things. As such he can be quite secretive of his own personal issues to others. Aside from the small few he trusts dearly. Internally Ilkwon has a lot going on. The reason why he tends to tease a lot of his fellow groupmates is because it shows a degree of comfort with them. Enough that he's willing to disrespect them to a degree. He means no actual harm by it. In fact it's just the only way he knows how to get along with people. Or at least express that.
BACKGROUND :
Ilkwon was an odd child when he was younger. A complete opposite to the way he is now. When he was younger he used to focus on school work and various things like that. He would never take time out to do fun things because all he knew how to do was school work. After all he didn't want to be like his dad in any regard. However as a result he developed social problems with the other students at his school. They'd often bully him because they thought that he thought he was too good to hangout with them. This would have lasting effects on him as a person.
Things would only really change in his life during the second half of middle school. Where he learnt about karaoke after getting a couple friends finally. However he was never quite good at the singing part. Much to his chargrin. But much like his father he became very interested in rap. As well as everything involved in it. He would soon join the hip hop undergrown in Daegu. Which is where he mainly developed his style as well as where he developed his charisma. After all you fake it until you make it.
At the age of 17 however he was forced to move to Seoul with his parents because he finished middle school. So his mother wondered what the point was staying there. So he eventually enrolled in a Seoul High school which he hated. So he decided to audition for any entertainment company that would have him. Considering he was so far from the underground in Daegu. One of the places he auditioned to join was JYP. Which was the one he got into intially. This is where he'd actually make a friend with none other than Hirai Momo.
Despite his best interests and efforts he ended up changing to LEMON entertainment because JYP ended giving his contract to them.

TRAINEE EXPERIENCE : Ilkwon was kind of a nobody when he started training at LEMON. He also wasn't as confident as he used to be either. Being dropped from JYP breaking his spirit almost. It wasn't until he met the Angelfish who urged to try harder that he started getting back into the rhythm of things. The lionfish also helped him with his rapping because he was out of practice and by no means was he the best in the first place. But thanks to the Angelfish and the Lionfish he was able to become popular amoungst the trainees and become the pinnicle of perfection he is right now. That was obviously a joke. Thanks to them he learnt not to take things so seriously. But because of them helping him out when he was at his lowest he doesn't tease them in the slightest. Mainly because they would be able to lowkey roast him alive with how much of a sad sack and overall dork he was when they were trainees.

Sure he's not the best person because he picks on the pufferfish so often. But maybe just maybe he'll develop a backbone and stop taking .

There's not much to say about the blobfish really. He teases her quite a bit. But that's only because he knows she can take it really or a least he thinks so. Granted it probably doesn't help at all given the fact she probably just thinks it's him teasing her again.

LOVE INTEREST
PERSONALITY : calm, aloof, shy,
MEETING : Ilkwon ended up meeting Mina when he was hanging out with Momo. Why you say? Well for starters Momo also invited Yujin along, which annoyed Ilkwon visibly. Luckily Momo also brought along Mina, so that he'd have someone to talk to. As a result he quickly became friends with Mina due to his confident nature.
LOVE STORY : Ilkwon's general relationship consists of him trying to hangout with Momo and generally hanging out with Mina because Momo is busy. Not because Momo is trying to ignore him or anything. She's just busy quite a bit. Ends up hanging out with Mina because she's not really doing anything anyway and because she doesn't want him to be bored really while he waits for Momo to finish a schedule.
Now this isn't your typical love story. In fact at the begining Ilkwon is still very infatuated with Momo. But it is Momo's birthday that would become the turning point for these two.
A certain event happens on Momo's birthday. One that surprises everyone in fact. Mina and Momo kiss. Not that there was any underlying feeling behind. Infact it was just a pepero kiss at a fan event because of Sana. It wasn't a big deal, well at least to Momo. Mina did get over it. But Ilkwon? Well his reaction was well.... odd. You'd kind of expect him to be jealous of Mina right or at least he'd shove it in Yujin's face.
But then he got an idea or what he thought was a of genius.
He kissed Mina.
After all, he'd get an indirect kiss with Momo. But things changed. It felt... good kissing Mina in that one moment. It was like a spark he hadn't felt before in his life. Which was an oddity given his flirty nature. He hadn't expected that to happen.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS : Friends/Mina has a crush on Ilkwon.
ENDING : He also didn't expect to find out she had a crush on him. Mainly because she's so well quiet and everything. He also didn't expect her to get upset mainly because she's usually so calm and understanding. Honestly he felt like a . Mainly because he didn't think about how she felt.
He takes some time out from hanging out with Mina. Not that he could if he wanted to. Mainly because she won't reply to his texts. But he finds that fair enough. He just wonders about who he likes. Because for awhile he believed Momo was the one for him. Even if stupid Yujin came along. But was Yujin really that bad? Not really. But would he tell him that. Hell no.
He found it odd that one kiss with Mina could change his thoughts so much. But that also made things so much easier for him. After all if everything came into question because of one small thing. Then well that meant that he was in love with Mina.
Perhaps he was the whole time? Maybe he was just to focused on Momo to realise.
But that did bring up how he'd get Mina to talk to him again.
1. He tells everyone that his ideal type changed from Momo to Mina on a variety show to prove a point. To which he even leaves a video message where he cryptically apologizes by saying that she might find it odd that she's his ideal type now given his previous ideal type was a member in her group. However he remarks that he's 110% that she's his ideal type this time.

2. He gets Yujin to get Mina to hangout with him so that he can talk to her about Momo and what he should do. But in reality she's going to end up hanging out with Ilkwon and hopefully they'll be able to talk.

MEETING : Ilkwon ended up meeting Mina when he was hanging out with Momo. Why you say? Well for starters Momo also invited Yujin along, which annoyed Ilkwon visibly. Luckily Momo also brought along Mina, so that he'd have someone to talk to. As a result he quickly became friends with Mina due to his confident nature.
LOVE STORY : Ilkwon's general relationship consists of him trying to hangout with Momo and generally hanging out with Mina because Momo is busy. Not because Momo is trying to ignore him or anything. She's just busy quite a bit. Ends up hanging out with Mina because she's not really doing anything anyway and because she doesn't want him to be bored really while he waits for Momo to finish a schedule.
Now this isn't your typical love story. In fact at the begining Ilkwon is still very infatuated with Momo. But it is Momo's birthday that would become the turning point for these two.
A certain event happens on Momo's birthday. One that surprises everyone in fact. Mina and Momo kiss. Not that there was any underlying feeling behind. Infact it was just a pepero kiss at a fan event because of Sana. It wasn't a big deal, well at least to Momo. Mina did get over it. But Ilkwon? Well his reaction was well.... odd. You'd kind of expect him to be jealous of Mina right or at least he'd shove it in Yujin's face.
But then he got an idea or what he thought was a of genius.
He kissed Mina.
After all, he'd get an indirect kiss with Momo. But things changed. It felt... good kissing Mina in that one moment. It was like a spark he hadn't felt before in his life. Which was an oddity given his flirty nature. He hadn't expected that to happen.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS : Friends/Mina has a crush on Ilkwon.
ENDING : He also didn't expect to find out she had a crush on him. Mainly because she's so well quiet and everything. He also didn't expect her to get upset mainly because she's usually so calm and understanding. Honestly he felt like a . Mainly because he didn't think about how she felt.
He takes some time out from hanging out with Mina. Not that he could if he wanted to. Mainly because she won't reply to his texts. But he finds that fair enough. He just wonders about who he likes. Because for awhile he believed Momo was the one for him. Even if stupid Yujin came along. But was Yujin really that bad? Not really. But would he tell him that. Hell no.
He found it odd that one kiss with Mina could change his thoughts so much. But that also made things so much easier for him. After all if everything came into question because of one small thing. Then well that meant that he was in love with Mina.
Perhaps he was the whole time? Maybe he was just to focused on Momo to realise.
But that did bring up how he'd get Mina to talk to him again.
1. He tells everyone that his ideal type changed from Momo to Mina on a variety show to prove a point. To which he even leaves a video message where he cryptically apologizes by saying that she might find it odd that she's his ideal type now given his previous ideal type was a member in her group. However he remarks that he's 110% that she's his ideal type this time.

2. He gets Yujin to get Mina to hangout with him so that he can talk to her about Momo and what he should do. But in reality she's going to end up hanging out with Ilkwon and hopefully they'll be able to talk.
2a. It works and they go on their first date and it goes well or it goes the right amount of wrong that it's funny. *insert happiness*
