chaejoon puts no effort on dressing up. he doesn't give a on what other people think as long as he's comfortable on what he's wearing. he's the type to just grab whatever on he's closet. most of his clothes were gifts from relatives or friends and souvenirs from his parents, since he doesn't like to go shopping, moreso spending money on something not that important. it is purely a coincidence that most of them were black but he lowkey likes it since he thinks he looks cool on it. an example of his outfit would be a shirt or sweater with a year old jeans and sneakers. if he gets cold, he might wear another layer of shirt or jacket or his one and only coat.

"yong chaejoon is the perfect example of the student you shouldn't copy." his laziness is mainly due to the fact that he doesn't like tiring himself and pushing himself to the limit. he realized that having high grades would only raise expectations from his family and teachers, based from his old friend who became a nerd. chaejoon wants to live as a free soul without any pressure and responsibilities. if someone gets in his way, he wouldn't think twice to break his neck- that's what he does before. now, he gives you time first to change your mind before breaking your neck. nothing can stop him from doing what he wants.

 

unlike all the bad rumours about him, chaejoon isn't all that dangerous. though he may come off as cold and mysterious, he is a genuine person and fun to be with. many people laugh at his sarcasm but his sarcasm is so advanced, sometimes people think he's stupid. chaejoon isn't good at expressing his emotions as well. more likely, he's gotten used at hiding it, ever since he was young. he likes to think of it as a challenge for the people who wants to get to know him. he's not very fast at making decisions which makes him look laid-back or slow. he likes to analyze situations for a minute before acting. it's hard for him to trust people because he trusts himself the most but he's open for anyone who wants to befriend him. "chaejoon is 100% evil and 0% good- (gets smacked by chaejoon) i mean 75% good?"

 

being an he is, chaejoon gets up from bed at 6:30 am. no, he didn't sleep late. he usually wakes up at that time. he washes up and prepares everything for 10 minutes before dashing off to school with his bike, thinking about how many tardiness offense he got and what excuse he would make if he was late. he quickly stops by the convenience store to get a bread and some drink for his breakfast since there's no one to cook for him at home. as chaejoon walks/runs through the school corridor, some students were still whispering about his rumours while chaejoon rolls his eyes. during class, he dozes off, especially during korean history. at lunch, he either eats with his friends or sleep at the school rooftop or other quiet places in the building. after class, sometimes his friends invite him to hang out somewhere but most of the time he declines them to get some sleep at home. after that nap, he tries to answer his assignments by randomly picking what question he wants to answer. he orders food for dinner and eat the side dishes his relatives sent him.

 

— a little snippet of his middle school life or what he calls his 'dark past': an unruly child who is very annoying to the viewers if he's in a drama. he doesn't study, he slacks off, and played dangerous pranks on school authorities (he almost set the principal's room on fire once). he almost got expelled but was only suspended for a week. he was mistaken as a bully when he tried to scare away the 'real' bullies. all the bad rumours about him started there.

— he's the only child of the family. they both work as day traders so they're often busy hanging out at different countries, leaving chaejoon alone in the house. they were once struggling financially when chaejoon was young but fortunately got rich after a few years. he isn't very close with his family but his parents drop him some money every month.

— tbh an innocent high school girl in the inside. he is a major softie for cute things. there are hidden 100+ pics of cute cats, dogs, and other animals on his phone album. if you show him pictures of cute animals and pretty girls (like im nayeon. heck, he doesn't even know her about her group but he really finds her pretty), he'll probably hide his blush and be a tsundere. he keeps this as a secret from his friends. there were times they almost caught him tho.

— he might be a softie but he isn't scared of ghosts though!!! (vimaru coughs) he loves mysteries and finds supernatural creatures interesting.

— some chaejoon habits:  his lips because his lips gets dry easily, staring into space when he's in a deep thought, running his hands through his hair when he's angry sleeping when he's bored

— sometimes he gets proud at his looks and boasts about it. this isn't a rare occassion.
— he says his role model is sherlock holmes. he has read all the books that featured sherlock holmes and watches the series when he's not lazy.
— other things he does when he's not lazy is working out (yas), watch some english movies, read some novels he finds interesting (he really likes action and mystery) or exploring different cafes to eat.

— suggestion for his friends would be someone from seventeen or other groups but they're all male (2-4 friends maybe?). despite the rumours, his friends still sticked to him <3 he highkey cares for his friends and the team but he's a tsundere.

— some of the rumours about him are true like it is true that he slacks off before and almost setting the principal's room on fire. there were also false rumours who were too absurd like chaejoon beating up a grandpa and fought 100 guys.

— he has a sweet tooth. he really really likes sweets. his favorite drink is banana milk and always has a cake in the fridge. he also likes nibbling on nutella while warching movies. told ya he's a innocent high school girl in the inside.

— it was suprisingly fine for the teachers to let chaejoon not answer his assignments unless he participates in the exam. he also promised his parents that he will study well when he's on his last year of high school. he's a hidden genius in the inside. his memory capacity is pretty high(?) that allows him to clearly remember things like he could get a perfect score in a test just by guessing carefully.

— pulling pranks are his guilty pleasure. he mostly does pranks to his friends and some friendly teachers. he is being cautious unlike before.

— chaejoon and vimaru surprisingly got along well, maybe because there were a lot of similarities between them, especially maru being a former delinquent like chaejoon. chaejoon was really enthusiastic about maru and would probably put the ghosts in a few tests if he was a scientist. shading battles are nice and they would do that often until they start chasing each other. chaejoon also likes pulling pranks on people with maru. and let's say maru super super super low(est)key cares about chaejoon and indirectly says some advice because something is bothering him that chaejoon might end up like him and he knows how his life . (bro i'm not sure if ghosts can remember their cause of death/past life but i'll change this if it's wrong!

 

"fine. guess if i'm lying or not." chaejoon tries taunting the ghost with a smug smile though deep down he knows ghosts don't have the ability to read minds, based from the shows he have watched. and he's probably too lazy to think of a good bluff right now. maru squints his eyes at the boy, pretending to be a lie detector.

"i was there because it was mr. lee's punishment for 'accidentally' skipping his class. it was really accidental because i didn't know i enjoyed my sleep too much at the rooftop." he said while smiling in the sky, reminiscing oh so thoughtfully the peaceful sleep and dreams he had at that time. "anyways, they made me dress up as a vampire, which only made me look hot, not scary." fail wink 

"ah, of course i thought it was a joke at first. who would believe you? especially since you're saying that inside a haunted house. i thought you was just a newbie worker for the festival who doesn't know how to scare people." chaejoon briefly chuckled before talking again. it was really funny for him. "when he told me that he was a ghost. i said i was a vampire. i eventually believed him after asking for evidences."

chaejoon furrowed his eyebrows, trying to figure out what just happened. this is his time to shine, to show his skills after watching a lot of mystery movies. "so, i assume you are the grim reaper, because you're looking for someone to work with you. and no, i'm not interested. i think a grim reaper's job will be too tiring for me." he waves his hand to reject the offer.

"well, it seems like i have no choice, right?" he shrugged and signed his name on the paper (?). "luckily i'm interested in this because if not, i would reject it. do you even know what my blood type is?"

"of course i know!" chaejoon showed a 'oh really?' face to the ghost.

 

 

ideal type as said in the trivias, chaejoon is weak for pretty girls (ps. the most beautiful girl he has seen is im nayeon) so there's a possibility that he might fall in love at first sight. he wants someone who's not afraid of him, since most of the girls avoid him because of the rumors. other than that, he doesn't have a specific preference. height doesn't matter as long as they can cuddle together < 3 (and chaejoon falls asleep lol) the way he thinks is: if it's a girl like me, they will have a short relationship because they'll die lol jk, but if the girl's the opposite of him, there will be an equilibrium. so yeah, the personality can be anything. (in krista's opinion, cj needs someone active so she can kick his off his bed) it's a big plus point in chaejoon's heart if the girl likes him!

i'm a simple girl. i want a happy ending my boy have dealt with all kinds of pain in life, and give him a gf jsy— 

if chaejoon is to confess, he wants it to be memorable, with him looking very cool ofc. he will confess if they're in a life and death situation, and then he saves her heroically. but if that won't happen, chaejoon takes the girl he likes out in a date. he didn't ask her out, just annoying and focing the girl to come with him (it could be to the restroom and his escuse is that he's too scared to go alone lol)
