Jinho and Hongseok, who finally made their debut under Cube Entertainment's new boy group Pentagon, revealed why they chose their current label.

As you may know, Hongseok participated in the show 'Mix & Match' and almost debuted in YG Entertainment's boy group iKON. However, he left YG shortly after the end of the show. During the showcase for Pentagon's 1st mini album 'Pentagon' on October 10, Hongseok opened up about his past decision to depart YG, and explained, "I was a candidate for iKON, but I was eliminated. So then I was left behind, and I felt like I was too old to be debuting as an idol. WINNER debuted and so didiKON and I got scared of waiting for the next turn under the label. So I went out to search for my own team and music. The rookie development director [of Cube] explained to me about a team called Pentagon and it was perfect, so I told him right away that I want to stay here [in Cube]."

Jinho who was part of SM The Ballad, also explained his decision to leave the label for Cube, and said, "I was a trainee for about 6 years, but my opinions and the label's opinions were a bit different. So I decided to bid them farewell under good terms."

What did you think of Pentagon's debut with "Gorilla"?
