BORI IN A NUTSHELL.
big circular glasses and messy ponytail, kim bori's that girl who always arrives late in class. she wasn't popular but a less stereotypical nerd. her parents complimented her a lot during her childhood, resulting to a lazy daughter at the present. yes, bori is smart but she dislikes putting too much effort into things. she prefers to lay low and let things flow the way it is. bori is boring — aka her nickname and the first impression of many people when they see her. it will be super awkward with her at first but after an hour, you'll find her talking about streetlights or any random things passionately in her iconic monotone voice.

01 horror movies are what keeps kim bori living. she likes the thrill and suspense it gives while still having a lesson at the end of the story. her eyes and ear are totally focused whenever she watches. she doesn't really get too suprised at jump scares and just lets out a quiet gasp. other than this genre, she also likes mystery and action.
02 movies, food, and pugs are the only things she care about in life. she says she only lowkey cares about her friends and family but it's actually highkey. she's just too shy to admit it. on the other side, bori dislikes sports, unfinished thoughts and unanswered questions.
03 another reason why people find her boring: her monotone voice and poker face. bori is not very outspoken. because of this, people are often suprised when she talks about something they thought she doesn't know. bori's not very responsive either. she got used on hiding her emotions and opinions.
04 her grades are average. she could've done better but she doesn't want to. bori doesn't have a specific goal after she graduates. maybe she'll get physics, her parents and teachers say it's the subject she's best at, or astronomy, just because.
05 bori never ever had experienced romance. she responds to flirtations by replying logically or being quiet. because of the scary thought of her friends that she might end up single forever because of her lack of interest in romance, they set her up every week whenever they find a cute guy. but until now, no one has perked her interest.
06 "you would've been so popular if you'd stop wearing those nerdy glasses." her friends say this a lot, specifically when bori takes off her glasses to clean it, or her eyes. bori isn't good at responding to compliments and gets really shy. her glasses. it's very important to her. she also says that it is her trademark. her vision is 20/100.
07 bori met choi rim and the gang through the neighborhood, for most of theiir houses were pretty close (maybe?). they were the one who approached her first and it didn't took long until she found herself hanging out with them everyday. at their groupchat, she either replies with one to three words or a whole paragraph, depending on the topic tbh.
08 bori has a very weird habit of naming things, living or not. they're mostly random names. she calls the cat she always sees on the street wasabi, the big tree at her school she always hangs out at is called andromeda by her, her bed's name is yahoo, and etc. (other names include maru, echo, koko, tomato, hades, cola)
09 her parents own a chiropractic clinic. bori has two older sisters: kim bosun, 9 years older and a lawyer, and kim bohyung, 4 years older and a college student majoring in biophysics. her older sisters were busy most of the time but they are really close when they hang out all together.
