yep yep...this is another Mr.Not Human post,...at least for the first half...

and he's looking kinda dressy here, ain't he? like he just came back from some meeting or idk...lol.

well, looking back, i think he often dress up when doing his cover perfs in his little studio there...but this one kinda stood out?

for the sake of my curiosity...i went to hear the original singer's perf...and i'll be cautious with my praises n try to not draw comparison bcuz idk it doesn't feel right...but mr.not human definitely holds his own...though i'd like to pour even more praises tbh....but i'm trying to not sound like...omg...oppar is better than everything...kinda fan yknow...he deserves better fan than that kind...but i think you peeps would be smart enough to read between the lines? hahah...

So far...this goes into my top2 fav from his covers...i'm not sure whether it ranks #1 or #2 but yeah...

It's weird but he is making me listen to genre i hate...those ballady ballads...granted...it's not the only reason i hate....hiphop wannabe genres are the kind that i hate...ballady ballad is more like...the genre i can't stand bcuz it's too draggy n depressing...but what can i do? mr.not human loves this genre it seems...haa...

and he brings so much beauty to the sound of ballad that otherwise i'm not too keen on...

he even manage to force me out of my laziness to post this blogpost just to ramble praises bout his not-humanness...

Why is the world so unfair?

How can a voice as divine as this less appreciated n loved than tons of idols who can barely sing quarter as good...

Well, whatever....ppl will always justify that idols aren't supposed to be good at singing...i've seen those idiotic justification for the sake of oppars/unnirs all the time...

This guy has been good at singing even in his idol days and even then...they're not appreciated for what they're worth...

what do i expect...it's kpop...dumbness is justified every single second of your breathing. period.

While i'm still in this blogpost...

let me post another beautiful thing i just discovered quite recently...

okay i know it's not released recently....but i just took notice of it recently.....to my regrets...haa. so beautiful...and yikess...it's a ballad....but it's beautiful...

so i was just rewatching KARA's Secret Love Gyuri X Ji Chang Wook episode recently...since i only downloaded that one...and i noticed the beautiful songs in the drama...

speaking of this drama...i also just realized how it is eerily similar to my old fanfic that i wrote in like....2007...lmao...

although the difference with my fic was...the angel in my fic was the the guardian angel of the guy the main girl loved...and my angel was so much more awkwardly dreamy perfect and angelic and heartbreakingly perfect. (though ji chang wook fans be objecting...hey i'm talking bout the character's characteristic okay) well, i can't help make the angel so perfect considering the idol that inspired the character, rite? haa...(guess who?)

and i think my heroine was not as annoyingly dumb as Gyuri's character was made to be...sadly...Gyuri often(?) seem to get this girly dumb characters..idk i just watched 2 of her characters...maybe not enough to judge yet...at least i can get comfort in the fact that the real one is so much cooler.

So...this time around i decided to give a try to Jiyoung X Bae Soo Bin episode too...since reading reviews got me interested in this one....although i think many people i've seen like Seungyeon or Hara stories the most...

ooohhh....after watching....Jiyoung's story kinda has that mellowness slow and poignant....but gave me chills....it hurts so good...idk what to feel....i don't want to give spoilers....but yeah maybe it's not everyone's cuppa...especially...it might not appeal to crowd who just want anything trendy, or light fluff, of full of actions...but for those who can appreciate a good, quiet pain in your heart for reasons unknown, this would do. poignant, bittersweet n almost dreamy.

Btw, i love how KARA's Secret Love dramas promote Rainbow...idk subtly enough or not but yeah...

in Gyuri's drama...there's one scene the angel(Ji Chang Wook) was watching TV on his comfy bed while talking bout humans and there's Rainbow Tell Me Tell Me MV in the TV...haa...

and in Jiyoung's drama...moreee Rainbow as Jiyoung's dance team dances to Rainbow's Sunshine...and even in a scene towards the end at the beach Jiyoung played that song to dance to it for her ahjussi to watch...

if i'm ever going to try the other stories....maybe i'd go for NicoleXLee Kwang Soo....bcuz SeungyeonXYeon Woo Jin's time travel plot HaraXKim Young Kwang's bucket list plot just don't intrigue me enough....so far...too trendy n been done countless time on dramas...Gyuri's story is also kinda like drama meets fanfic...but hey it's Gyuri...n tbh the angel was really entertaining to watch...and so far, i think Jiyoung's story is a gem though some/many might find it boring....

Anyway, let's end with some more songs i just found n love...

 

It's a shame they had to remake the songs....i personally prefer the versions i heard in the dramas...oh well...

Fun fact,  Mr.Not Human was an idol in same company as the rest of songs/singers in this blogpost...before his group disbanded and he joined an existing ballad group in other company and after about four years he quit to do his own thing...i think i always tell about his past/background story in each of his post but whatever...i can. haa.

He seriously should go to mask singer.
