Hello all!

So after long last, I finally completed my JR Elf King Fan Fic (yay!). This fic funnily enough began back in 2013, when my friends and I used to write fanfics with our biases in for each other (in short: we were trolling each other!). The fantasy idea was brought about by my friend’s love of Lord of the Rings, especially the elves, so I thought I would try and incorporate that into a fic with JR. It is always surprising how fantasy based stories take a life of their own. The characters, the places, the atmosphere-all of it just took shape and form so easily and pretty soon, this story was writing by itself! 

At the time, it was just for fun until one day I realised that actually, other people might enjoy reading it too? So with a little bit of editing and tweaking, I published it on AsianFanFics. It’s received a fair few views, more than I anticipated and since publishing it, some fans have told me how much they’ve loved reading it and have complimented me on my writing too, which is always a good thing because writers thrive on comments and feedback (those who have given me feedback already, I am incredibly grateful for it, on and off of AsianFanFics!).

I have been working on this fic on and off for 2 years now (I know, that’s a really long time!) and I’m a little bit sad to see it end, but I feel like I’ve done it justice. If you do take the plunge and give it a read, do let me know. I would love any feedback or comments, be it positive or negative (we need to improve our writing somehow, right?) so don’t be scared to let me know what you think. If there’s any parts you loved or any parts that you really disliked, let me know why and I’ll take the advice on board for next time!

I hope others have enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it and who knows? Maybe a future fic will lead us back to the mystical world of Aranthi?
