—Woo's major goal in life (besides going to college and getting a job) is too look good. Sadly, it's hard for him to keep off the weight and stay fit. As fitness is a huge thing since the start of the 80s. As to why? He doesn't know. But it's not his favorite thing to do, work out that is. So he still has his baby fat in his cheeks, and doesn't have a six pack (though one time he woke up to find his brother had sharpied one on his stomach, meanie). Though, he is working on it. His eyes are thin but open wide to show off his hazel-brown irises with a dust of gold. His nose is long, and his nostrils stick upward. He has rather large ears, and pinkish lips. His hair, to him, is the most important part of his body (well, second most important if you know what I mean). His style icon for hair: Johnny Depp. The 80s American star is now his inspiration for nearly anything: especially his hair. His hair is usually in a pompadour, and styled messily. Lately he's been thinking of growing it out to his shoulders, as that's what he thinks his favorite star is going to do.
#fashionsense.
—Like above, Woo's inspiration for fashion is Johnny Depp. He tries his absolute best to find the style of clothing his favorite actor wears. Plaid shirts over graphic t-shirts paired with fitted ripped denim jeans, he wears that on the days he feels like rebelling against something or someone. Random pocket shirts of any neutral or dark color: green, auburn, grays, and browns. Reebok shoes with socks that reach further up his ankles. His pants are usually knock off brands of expensive denim jeans. He has a few pairs of leather jackets (faux leather as leather is too expensive for his mom to buy him) that he wears over his white t-shirts. Collared shirts that he puffs up like Elvis (as Johnny Depp did so often to copy the artist). He owns floppy hats that he wears over his messy hair on days where he's not in school. Ray Bans, beanies, and clip-on earrings. A bunch of random faux leather and twine bracelets that he wears on his left wrist. Just a lot of stuff that he thinks looks good on him but his brother tells him he looks stupid: like a baby wearing men's clothing.
#importantmarkings.
—He has a birthmark on his left arm, a small (nearly transparent) mark that he finds to be cute despite the oddness of it. At the age of sixteen (two to three months before he would be turning seventeen) he was invited to a college party with his brother. His brother was intoxicated beyond belief (Woo had stuck to drinking pepsi? Or was it Coke?) and allowed Woo to get a nose piercing at a tattoo parlor down the street that was owned by his older brother's best friends' cousin. Needless to say, they were both grounded and Woo isn't allowed to wear his piercing (though he does put it on when his parents aren't around and when he's out of school).

#elaboration.
#I never took you for the fearless type. Growing up, Woo was subjected to that of his brother's snarky comments, and brazen moments of boxing matches. Along with his younger sisters tattle telling, and keen ways of throwing the blame on him. As the middle child, Woo learned to be plucky, and evasive. There was always a need to have the upper hand, especially as the middle child: the scapegoat. The person his older brother, and younger sister blamed for nearly everything and anything. But beyond that, he needed ways to protect himself. As he grew, and grew, and grew as did his willingness to do tricky fads in order to get out of equally as tricky situations. As such, his pluckiness for adventure grew to the point he was willing to do things others were and are, not. He'd be the first person up for ditching class (convincing others as well). He's the one to force everyone to go to college parties with him (the one's his brother allows him to go to or tells him about).
#Well maybe you're not that bad. School field trips turn into complete and utter craze as he gets everyone lost in the woods on camping trips or stuck in line at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant when taking day-trips. He's the type of guy who has the street smarts of New York City pimp. At the same time as he is open for doing new things, he's also very sophisticated (due to the fact that his mother is very strict on manners). While he tries to look and act like the typical bad-boy, he's actually a very nice boy. Chivalry is not dead when it comes to me, and although he has a pile of teenage crap on his hands, he will be the second (or third) one to listen to your never ending story of sappiness and cries. He may fall asleep; but, he has the decency to not interrupt and to try and make an effort to pay attention.
#I always knew you were rude. Despite his mom trying to teach him the best ways of being kindhearted and sweet, her good intentions fell below the belt on a few aspects. Woo grew up with his father, that is. His father the rowdy guy who doesn't shut up and spits his opinions at everyone; which is how Woo tends to be now. Argumentative, bad-tempered, and uncooperative is what Woo tends to be like when his nature turns from serious to a sulking child. As most of his friends know, getting on the wrong side of Woo tends to get you into an adolescent style of dealing with anything.
#You're probably the most hated. Prepare for stupid and snarky passive aggressive comments while at the same time a middle school esque fist fight. His childishness tends to create big problems between him and his family (mainly him and his older brother who get into fight often and thus create tension with his mother who yells at their father blaming it on him for creating Woo the way he is). His friends tend to dislike anything that involves him getting over-the-top and dramatic. Though they handle it better than his parents. He's often in trouble for his attitude and constant opinionated disorder. Meaning detention, suspension, and often groundings. Much to his dismay.
#background.
#Childhood was good, I guess. By the time Woo was born, his father had just gotten a promotion for his work (working for the newly instituted South Korean branch of Motorola) while his mother recently quit her job as a first grade teacher, to become a stay at home mother. His older brother was six when he was born and hated his guts the day he met him. Yet, as a child he really loved his life. His mother gave him more attention than his older brother, as did his father, and though he and his brother often fought: he found it to be quite fun. That is, until, he was ten and his baby sister decided to pop in for no goddamn reason, ruining everything he had built for himself and pushing him into the horrid position of 'middle child' the position no one wants. Although he likes his little sister more than his older brother, he still finds her to be the worst thing to ever happen to him: as she uses his own tactics against him. As a child, Woo became good friends to those in his neighborhood. It wasn't too hard for him to befriend others, sure he's a bit crazy; but, he's abundantly friendly and people found him to be a contradiction to the point they found him funny to be around. He formed tight bonds with those in his neighborhood, and grew up to find them like his own siblings.
#My life now is better though. Growing up with his best friends, and dramatic family, tended to keep himself entertained with anything. He's the one in the group to make everyone do stupid things, and get everyone in trouble because of his dramatic nature. In school, he's well known for being a troublemaker, and people tend to see him as a neutral character rather than someone they hate or like. His grades are par-neutral, none are too good, none are too bad. He doesn't get along with his teachers, and is a frequent in detention. If there's anything that's one hundred percent true, it's that Woo won't ever leave his friends. He loves all of them too the moon and back and want the best for them. Meaning, he'll do practically anything for them. And even though his brother is twenty-three, he's still in the house, driving Woo insane. And thus, Woo drives his parents absolutely insane. Most of the time he'll stay over at a friends house (one of the squad members) and has become increasingly close with their family. Whenever there's a big blow-up at the house, he'll retreat to said-friend's house to get away from it all.

# I think I'm sick...of your attitude
#mamabear—Kim Jisoo—forty-two—Taewoo and his mother never seem to be on "good' terms. Rather, they're always off beat. Taewoo often gets in trouble; which leads to his mother being negative toward him. They get into fights often, mainly vocal but it has gotten physical before. His mom slapped him when he came home with his drunk brother and pierced nose. His mother is most definitely the strict parent, compared to his father. Though most of her time is focused on his sister, she is still equal with her time for all of her kids and husband. #stickynote. Kang Taewoo, if you leave one more piece of clothing on the living room floor, you'll be in deep —also, buy some milk from the groccery store. Your father gave you money last week (don't waste it on, candy.)
#dad—Kang Ilwoo—forty-five—Taewoo and his father have a really good relationship. While his brother and sister love their mother, Taewoo loves his father most. Even though his father works most of the time; whenever he's around Taewoo and him hang out the most. And although there shouldn't be favoritism with his kid, there is definitely a little bias when it comes to Taewoo. Whether it's giving Taewoo more money for food, cheering for him louder than for his other kids, or just being nicer for him than anyone else. #stickynote. Taewoo, don't listen to your mother. Use the money for candy...or what you want, I don't care.
#purehate—Kang Jiwoo—twenty-three—It's very obvious that Taewoo and Jiwoo don't get along. It's mostly do to the fact that Taewoo used to constantly get Jiwoo in trouble, nearly all the time. They try their hardest to get along; but, it's rather hard for both of them as they have set negations about one another. And although they're older and more mature than when they were kids, it's still a very childish relationship. It's always leading to petty fights, and ridiculous arguments. Despite their best intentions. #stickynote. Devil Child, stop stealing my jackets you shirthead.
(Has a baby sister named Eunbi, she's seven and they have an 'okay' relationship but she tends to blame Taewoo for everything. Learning best
from Taewoo's past mistakes and using them to her advantage.)
#squadgoals—Sung Yura—eighteen—Taewoo and Yura have a good relationship, like brother and sister. He lives directly above her house (as it's a split level house) and his parents are adoringly close. Especially their mothers. On top of that, Yura tutors Taewoo in any subject (except science) because of his disinterest in school. He doesn't necessarily pay attention, which thus turns the tutoring time into a time to mess with one another and talk. Out of the whole entire group, they're not 'best friends' but they're close. That being said, they're relationship is very fun loving and caring.
# Thanks for replying
#finalwords. I'm really glad that you created a reply series au fic. It's one of my favorite series, so I absolutely adore you! If there's anything that needs fixing, I'll try my best ^^ Also, if you're wondering about Taewoo and Jaehwan's relationship, it's similar to Yura but without the tutoring.
