Guuys, so, I really need your help.

Especially you, chanwoo stans/ chocoballs

 

Lately I've been in confusion. Some of you might know that I have written chanwoo fics since he was still such an awkward chanumon.

But lately,... I just don't understand.

It's all started when someone basically messaged me telling me this (I can't tell her/his username) few months ago (when i wrote FANBOYS and HEAT)

first of all im sorry for your grammar he or she was b*tching and ranting in my dm like.... umm excuse me?

 

You guys know what, for at least one until two months I am always wondering Chanu is top or bottom
in which he is obviously a bottom when M&M era

Now that our baby chanu have grown up. I was such in a dillema.

 

To be really honest, I decided to keep an eye on him (I'm feeling like an overprotective momma nuna)
I tried to watch his videos from fancams to vapps and all.

If you obviously noticed, he was getting tall, he almost lost his baby fat cheeks, and all.
At first I thought 'ah, he has changed to being a 'manly' chanwoo'

BUT

When I tried to explore more fancams, fanpics, and stuffs of him I noticed, despite his 'handsome' image, he still acts like a kuddo (kid) He sulked at times because of his hyungs, pouting, or smiling shyly.

And then I tried to watch videos of him and other members, i noticed. When he is with other he looks so calm and mature, but- his "calm" character is like....a shy attitude, a quiet naive boy. (or awkward one) idk but don't get fooled he is still a satanwoo ok

To be really honest, sometimes I kinda lost motivation because as a momma fan I always seeing my son chanwoo as a bottom. The most thing I think is as a seke, the only seme (........kinda.) imo is chanwan because of the too obvious height difference.

And in the end,

My friend, who watched ikoncert live told me on stage he was so good looking, but he didn't have the 'SWAG' vibes in him. He doesn't remind her of this

In the end I noticed, It doesn't matter top or bottom.

as long as i enjoy writing my son chanwoo fics, and if I like to be him as uke or seke then it will do just fine.

The point of this blog is I need your opinion. can you tell me chanwoo's position in his r/s with ikon like for an example :

Chanbob : uke/bottom
Chanbin : uke/bottom
Yunchan : Seke
Junchan : Uke
Jinchan : Seme
etc etc etc ??

I just.... want to know so at least I will know majority of your guys thoughts of this.
It's not like that I will then change chanwoo to be a daddy nyaan nyaan (XD) material or so so, it just that maybe I can "tone down" his character a bit from a bubbly to a quiet chanu (tho i don't feel like it tbh T T maybe, okay.... just "maybe")

For me, Chanwoo just a little baby boy of hyunh, despite the maturity remained so forever. Make sure uke, except for DongDong because DongDong at the bottom for all :))))))))

For me.. Chanwoo is TOP when he is with jinhwan yunhyeong and donghyuk. Because he acts more boyish when around them huahaha

Chanwoo is bottom with the rest.. Its simply because june bobby hanbin act more 'a man' in my eyes. I just can't imagine bobby or june (hanbin can do both huahaha) for b. Hemm..

Conclusion. Chanwoo can do both. Depend with who is he. Haha

In my opinion,even if he looks manly on the outside maybe he only acts like a cutie baby♥ towards his hyungs and not the camera.Maybe when they are filming he acts manly but when he is only with his hyungs he acts like a cute baby♡.So my coculsion,he just has to be a bottom!Plus in most of the Chanwoo pairings chanwoo is usually a uke.

For the record it's your fic, but I'll give my opinion lol. OK I'm a total BobChan/DongChan shipper, & sometimes JunChan. This is how I feel in reference to these ships (not so sure about the others but I can guess how I see him in relation to those)
BobChan: Bottom- despite being “natural” enemies Bobby takes care of his Chanumon since M&M for that to change now. And they are just adorable together.
DongChan: switch/top - I think they have a relationship where they're both comfortable with going either way. I believe they provide comfort to whoever needs it more. But my Dongie can be hard on himself so that's where I think top-Chanu would come in, him understanding how it feels & making him feel better. The same could be said in the reverse.
JunChan: top-Chanu because despite all Junho’s swag, I can't see him topping... Here's my reasoning June can be too hard on himself as well, vocals/dancing/personality lol for that alone I think Chanumon who has a different perspective would say why he's wrong, & if they have that kind of relationship make his fears obsolete.
JinChan: switch - BC it's based on respect. They'll have different perspectives one based on age the other youth, but it works out as Jinan will balance out Chanumon, vice versa.
YunChan: bottom - just because I believe like with Bobby Chanumon has gotten used to being cared for, & Yoyo loves doing it.
BinChan- bottom: no real reasoning, I don't ship it so I can't say... Sorry.

As everyone has already said, it's your story and you don't need to worry about whoever rants to you as long as you like what you are doing.

And for the question you asked, for me personally I see Chanwoo as a power bottom, period.
Sure, he's grown super tall and has no more baby fat on his cheeks, but in attitude he's still the same cute baby as he's always been, well obviously he's our 'Satanwoo' but that doesn't mean he can't still be a pretty baby (He's my bias fyi, and I feel like the need to pretect him LOL #ChanwooProtectionSquad).
Ah, but answering the pairings thing it'll be like this for me tho:
Bobchan: Bottom
Chanbin: Bottom
Junchan: Bottom
Yunchan: Bottom
Dongchan: Versatile (I don't really like this couple much, so I couldn't decide a position for Chanu baby, sorry)
Chanhwan: Versatile (but with more inclination towards being a Top)
iKON in general: POWER BOTTOM!

I don't know what are Seke or uke mean but I don't care what Chanwoo being in a fic position as a Top or Bottom but all I want are able to read more any ikon members with Chanwoo as Couple fic. Especially Chanbob/Bobchan fic! I seriously love this ship and find that their fics are too less. Just follow your heart of what ideas you have think and write for us! Thank alots for writing Chanwoo fics! I don't usually comments but I think I should say out that I really love reading your Chanwoo fics! Don't think too much and have confident in yourself.

imo, it doesn't matter if chanu is seme or uke bcs i like him being both, whoever the pairing.
I like ikonXikon so whoever the top or bottom i never mind it as long as it suited the plot
So plz make anything u'r comfortable with, theres always pros and cons so don't think too much about the ppl's ranting, esp the negative one

As a chanu's momna (mommy-noona) u need to write more about him~ and i'll be ur loyal subs! Cuz i'm also one of his #noonaprotectionsquads lol xD

Junchan, Chanbin, Bobchan : obviously uke
Yunchan, Dongchan, Jinchan : seke
MexChanwoo : seme (pfffffffft))

Regardless writing anything you want. Even if you write a total bottom Chanwoo I will still reading them. Write them with passions don't care what others said, let 'em ideas flowing to form a beautiful story

In my opinion author...I see Chanwoo as a bottom but I also see him as a top too
I first read Chanwoo fanfic and it was a bottom Chanu and I kept thinking that he was seriously a bottom but then as you said as the times goes Chanu is growing into a manly baby(?) Like sometimes he acts cute and sometimes he also acts manly/mature like these day....but his voice tho it really doesn't suit Top Chanu...IT'S TOO CUTE XD

But these day....I really like it when Chanwoo top

And if it is a pairings(my opinion) :
-Yunchan : I prefer Chanwoo top cause Yoyo is too cute XD
-Junchan : Obviously it's Chanu who bottoms...but I also like it when Junhoe is the bottom (I guess they can also switch(?) ) or seke Chanwoo
-Bobchan : Chanwoo UKE!!!
-Jinchan : Seme Chanu
-Chanbin : Seke Chanu...but Chanbin is a hard one tho...like Hanbin's leadership and his charisma and Chanu's cuteness but also his playful Satanwoo is making me confused....and Hanbin can also be cute and Chanu can also sometimes be manlier than Hanbin and their hight difference....Well a lot of Chanbin fic is Uke Chanu, So i rather pick seke for Chanu
-Dongchan : Seme Chanu <3 Dong is too cute and I always see him as a bottom
-Chanwooxikon : OBVIOUSLY POWER BOTTOM CHANU

The only one I can see him being top is Jinhwan but trust me the clingy Chanwoo to Jinhwan is like a baby to his or her older brother (he doesn't give this "dominance" vibes in him) so I took it as bottom to everyone and seke to Jinhwan ( ? )

I just read your Chanbob fic and I loved it so much! Please don't make things like that effect your passion of writing! I want to read more of your works in the future ((: ganbatte!!!!

idk about anyone else but i feel like even with donghyuk and jinhwan he is pretty submissive. he asked jinhwan for permission to hit yunhyeong in their season greeting dvd and like, personally, he might be a power bottom???? he asked but it was like he /knew/ it was going to be approved anyway. donghyuk babies him a lot, i've seen it live at their showtime concert. it was so fricking cute!!!!! in their videos too you can tell chanwoo is the apple of his eye. jinhwan can be in control too if he wanted so i dont doubt that he can top chanu even with their height difference. chanwoo is precious protect him pls
