Reasons Why I Love Kpop ^^

I get a lot of from people about me listening to Kpop. Why do you listen to music you can't understand? You are so weird. Do you even know what they are saying? Why don't you listen to English music?

UGH!!!

Here's some reasons why I love Kpop and why I don't think I'll be leave the fandom any time soon!

There's something for everyone!

From Cute to y, dance track to ballad, Kpop has something for everyone. I know that you can't technically categorize Big Bang, Exo, and CN Blue all in the same genre of music, but Kpop has such a wide range.I'm sure you will at least find one melody that suits your taste somewhere in the Kpop world.

I never get bored

Because there are so many different styles of Kpop there's always something new happening. There were times when the comebacks are a little slow, but I can always find something that suits whatever mood I'm in. There are so many different concepts and songs that capture my attention, as well as, my heart. I have so many options, so I never get bored.

Concepts! Concepts! Concepts!

Isn't it great when your favorite groups can consistently pull off cute and y concepts?? In American music, you don't get that option. One comeback can be completely different from the last. You can never predict what will be done next and the anticipation is exciting. I like the idea of every comeback having a theme: cheerleaders, vampires, cats, detectives... Every occupation, every mystical being, every animal. In Kpop, I'm sure a group has been it, wore it, or acted like one in a music video or on stage.

Dance! Dance! Dance!

My favorite part of Kpop is definitely the dancing. The Intense and creative choreography is one of the main reasons why I stayed dedicated for 4+ years. I love to watch them, learned them, and stare in awe. How can those guys move like that?? I can't even walk in my heels, how can those girls dance in them? Danciing to Kpop is a fun way to exercise as well. I sometimes take out of my day just to learn a girl group dance. Practices are my favorite to watch. I love seeing them in a comfortable setting, no fancy clothes or filming. They are just dancing and having fun.

Props for Days

Chairs, tables, handkerchiefs, canes, dance poles, masks, mirrors, robots, instruments... I can seriously go on forever. The amount of props, tricks, and magic used to entertain the viewers is unbelievably amazing.

Frequent comebacks

This don't apply to all groups. But a great number of idols comeback several times a year. And some even get solos. If groups are not releasing material in Korean, then there might be Japanese, Chinese, and English material to listen to as well.

When They Ride Solo

Trust me, I love my groups together. But when they get to release solo material, magic always happens. Especially when referring to my bias groups.

Angel Voices

There's some vocalists in the industry that are just too good at what they do. Too often I am yelling at my computer like "YASSSSS SLAYYYY BISHHH!!" Aside from the dancing, the singing is one of the reasons why I am still obsessed with Kpop <3

S.W.A.G

I'm not sure if this is synonymous with concepts, but sometimes groups can have some intense swag. I like when groups do the hood concepts. I'm Black and no I don't get offended over that stuff. I actually feel happy when groups step out of there confort zone and try new things. Or maybe they are masters in the field of hood from the beginning haha

R&B Slow Jams

Pop music is nice. However it can become exhausting at times. When songs are chill and slow tempo-ed I can just relax and listen to this with ease. No sudden beat changes, dubsteps, or powerful rapping.

SHINEE!!

I can't end the blog without mentioning my ultimate bias group!! Damn they are so talented I want to cry T_T I couldn't imagine a life without SHINee's music.

Of course there are more reasons why I love Kpop. However, I don't want to be typing forever. My list is probably endless. Why do you love Kpop?

Stay tuned for the reasons why I hate Kpop. It's not as bad as it sounds. I promise ^^
