alyssa was born in toronto, canada. she has an older sister who is three years older than her. her mother is from tanzania and her father is from south korea. after living for a year in toronto, her parents moved to montreal, canada in the province of quebec. she had a normal childhood. alyssa and her older sister were very close and they shared mutual friends together during their whole childhood and teenage years. when she turned four years old, alyssa started to play soccer. she was the smallest player of the team, but she always did well. her time as a baby passed quickly and she started to attend primary school (4/5 to 11/12 years old). being a shy girl, alyssa pretty much prefered to stay in the shadow. she was the one who never talked in class and would do her work sliently. she kept playing soccer during her freetime and her mother brought her to dancing lessons. since she wasn't much in touch with her african culture, her mom made sure she took her to african specific dances. that's how she first learn how to dance at the age of 12.
in secondary school (12/13 to 16/17 years old), alyssa got tired of playing soccer and went for basketball. it was quite funny to see someone who was still in the 4ft tall join a sport when there's a lot of tall people. she had to chance to show everyone that she is good at it. as an athlete in secondary school, the athletes tend to stick together inside the school. she was around loud people, but she was still the one who was still a little bit shy. it was throught her fellow athletes she got into hiphop music. along with her friends, she would sing with them and rap to every songs in the locker room and even at home with her sister. rapping took a big part for her, she prefered to write her lyrics in a book and she never let anyone see it. it was like a diary in music form. she finished secondary school with good grades and decided to go in college. she has chosen natural sciences for program.
those two years in this college drove her crazy. it was full of stress and a lot of work in class. she eventually survived those two years and graduated college. alyssa's sister left to south korea during alyssa's last year in secondary school to go in university. as soon alyssa finished college she applied to an university in south korea. when she got accepted, she flew for hours and went there. after six months being in south korea, alyssa got scooted in a modelling agency and got a contract with nike and adidas korea. she went to university few times a week and the rest of the time, she would be doing photoshoots. she has met few celebrities there and there. during all that time, alyssa had a close friend,hanla, who was a producer and composer. one day, hanla randomly found alyssa's music diary and told her to try recording them for fun. that's what alyssa did and it was quite fun for the two girls.
hanla is a current active composer and producer. she worked with few artists. alyssa's music were always on her computer and by accident, the music started to play in her studio when tiger jk was present. he asked her who it was and hanla on panic said it was no one, knowing that alyssa took rapping and singing more like a hobby than an actual career. he kept telling her that yoon mirae was recruiting female artists for her company and that he thinks that alyssa will do well with the help of his wife. hanla had no choice but to call alyssa and make a meeting with tiger jk and yoon mirae. the first meeting was very awkward. alyssa couldn't even open because she was a big fan of yoon mirae. with the help of her friend, hanla hanla made them listen to some of her songs and it impressed yoon mirae. the female rapper made her join divine records as an artist after alyssa decided to accept the offer.

they first met during a party where the girls were making their official come out as divine records artists. because of the different connections of the girls, cjamm came along with few of his friends and other khiphop artists who were curious about the newbies. ally's first song was a vocal forcused song. at first, he was shocked to see a "foreigner" singing well in korean and dancing well too. he thought that she was amazing. that was his first impression of her. after the girls' performances, it was party time. being a lowkey girl, dok2 had to drag her and introduced her to few of his friends. he also intoduced her to his illionnaire kids from smtm5. everyone was having fun and ally was simply sipping her drink calmly while looking at everyone partying hard. her first impression of cjamm was he doesn't look like someone who's serious hanla who often worked with bewhy, intoduced him to her. hanla had to say that ally was rooting for him for smtm. it made ally laugh and punch hanla on her harm. seeing that his best friend was having ally's attention, he just randomly came in the conversation and asked ally, what about me? ally's answer was full of honesty you good too, but bewhy is better. he killed you twice during the diss battle her answer made everyone around them laugh. ally had no interest in him. he was pretty much in her not worth it mental list.
