So uh, I know this is preeeetty late (and I apologize to the whole fandom /bows deeply/), but I just wanna congratulate our five shining boys, SHINee, and SHINee World, for having celebrated our 8th Anniversary!!! Wooohooo!!! Partyyyyyy~~~~

Honestly, I had planned to celebrate with the rest of the world last May 25; but because of the work schedule that I had and I am a big procrastinator, I could not do it in time. I know, I know. I'm over a month late, but better late than never, right?

I just had to let my feels out and share to everyone, fan or not, how proud I am for SHINee and SHINee World to have reached this far. Despite everything we have been through, we've finally reached EIGHT FREAKIN YEARS, and I could not have been happier for all of us. ♥

I first discovered SHINee when I was into Super Junior at the time, which was during their Sherlock Era. And because of my big love for Super Junior then, I wasn't drawn into SHINee at all because I had not payed even the slightest attention to them. It was like they were just some group I stumbled upon because SuJu and SHINee were under the same company. What got me into K-Pop was SNSD; then I learned to really like Super Junior next, and I thought to myself that SNSD and Super Junior would be the last groups I would come to absolutely love because I was just really crazy about them. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated any and all K-Pop music, but those two groups really stood out to me.

Boy, was I so wrong.

I don't know how it actually happened. One moment I was figuring out who was the better dancer between Taemin and Key, and the next thing I knew, I was looking at all of them and then I searched up more performances from them and then suddenly I was pulled into the fandom like woah. Their charm, their passion, their good looks, their personalities, their heart-warming smiles-- I came to really appreciate and love those boys and just one day, I realized that this is the group and the fandom that I belong to. No matter how depressed I am, their songs comfort me. No matter how happy I am, their performances manage to hype me up even more. No matter how down I am, just the thought of them working hard for their dreams have me motivated to reach mine as well. They're now a part of my life and I can't thank God enough for letting me come across these five wonderful boys.

Yes, it wasn't one of those "love at first sight" things, but I know that this feeling won't go away any time soon. I include them in my prayers everyday-- that they eat and sleep well, they don't overexert themselves, their families and loved ones are well, and they receive all the blessings they deserve in life and more. But most importantly, I pray for their happiness, and for that happiness to spread throughout the whole SHINee World fandom, and also to other people who see them.
