Lucky One to Monsters.
Lucky that they had powers, and then something happened to turn them into Monsters?
From their debut with MAMA to now and whatever is planned in the future, everything links together. What I am writing right now is only a tidbit, where EXODUS and this comeback links together.

If you remember the PATHCODE teasers, in almost every teaser something bad happened. Please read previous post where I wrote down the analysation of the teasers.

Could everything symbolise an apocalypse?
In the teasers it looks like no one is really in control of their powers, apart from Jongin and Chanyeol. In Tao’s teaser, time stops all of a sudden and he looks phased by it, like he wasn’t the one who caused it. In Xiumin’s teaser the cup only frosts up after he takes his hand off it. Suho has the power of water, but in the teaser it’s like the water is about to wash over him - like a tsunami. Why would he do that to himself? Sehun, everything is suspended in air, the sound of a kettle boiling over. Time is running out, or you need to hurry before something bad will happen. Baekhyun, although having the power of light, every source of light around him turns off and he looks frightened by it. Jongdae, a storm. Thunder, lightning – terror and possibly the beginning of something terrible. Kyungsoo’s teaser, there are marbles laid on the ground and aligned in a specific way, before he drops the three marbles he is holding and they knock into the marbles on the ground.

Part 2:

Let’s look deeper into Kyungsoo’s teaser. His is the last teaser and the least climactic one, but if you look into it, it could mean a lot more. Perhaps the most meaningful one in terms of my theory. There are seven marbles laid on the floor, 3 on the top, and two on the left and right. He is holding and fiddling with three in his hands, before he drops them and they knock into the marbles on the ground. The marbles on the ground could symbol the specific alignment of stars or planets. When he drops the marbles and they knock into each other, they mess up the alignment and knocking into each other could mean chaos. Especially with Kyungsoo’s power, he is able to do such a thing. We can all agree that the galaxy, planets, space, stars, astrology and whatnot are big things between EXO and EXO-L.

Eclipses are shown in several teasers, and they are often thought of signals of an apocalypse. EXO’s third tour which has been named EXO’rdium, and if you search what EXORDIUM means, it shows up with “beginning of a discourse.” All of the things that happen in the teasers show the beginning of something, the start of several events. They are all in different locations but they all experience similar or the same events.

Part 3:

On EXO’s website, the logo says “EXO ACT 3”. Act 3, meaning their third full album. Act 3, meaning the third scene of a play. There has been word that this comeback will be a devil/strong type of concept. If you look at the leaked dance routine for the comeback, personally I think it looks like they are all mad men or they are all insane. In the third act, something bad always happens. In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the third act of the play is where Tybalt and Mercutio fight something out. Romeo gets into the middle of it and kills Tybalt. In Julius Caesar, he dies in the third act.

Sehun posted a picture of someone barefoot in the green forest with captions of green leafs and clovers. Shortly after he posted a photo of fire. He posted pictures of him with scabs, scars, blood and whatnot.

Green represents life, renewal, nature, energy. It represents growth, harmony, safety. A four leaved clover represents luck. Luck in life and all the like, ultimately representing Lucky One. Suddenly, fire. The bringer of destruction, the symbolisation of chaos and war. Sehun injured, bloodied and hurt. Monster.
