Marry your dream, or normal love?

Hello there!

So I've been watching a lot of historical dramas lately and realised that a lot of girls seem to have the 'marry the king' fantasy. But would you still want that kind of relationship if you have to share your 'king' with 1 - 20 other women? Even if he loved you genuinely, he still wants other girls and because he's attractive other girls want him too?

In the less gender-equal societies polygamy is pretty common, but what about in the first world? Do girls dream of having a normal boy who love them and only them, or do you want a charismatic and powerful husband who loves you as well as everyone else?

I wouldn't mind polygamy all that much. I love reading poly-relationships these days as well anyway, so I actually kind of think I could manage with a poly guy. I want him to be happy though. Not in a relationship with many because he has to be but because he is poly and happy and wants to be <3
Technically I find 20 too many. I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 excluding me but if we reach 5 and above I would be .... meh. No, thank you.
Actually, t's a difficult question. But yeah, I wouldn't mind a polyamorous relationship (he doesn't have to be powerful, lol) with one - five other women but I would mind being "one of 10" or "one of 20". ;;
