Not a ray of sunshine. 

The icy coldness,
Not a hint of warmth. 

A warped sense of touch,
The craving for sparks. 

It hurts,
The many needles, 
Piercing into
The deepest darkest corners
Of your mind,
Burning its way through
The thickest hide, 
Guarding your heart. 

But you smile, 
Hiding the fears
