What is this? Did you know that AFF is celebrating its 7th year of being up and running? Every year we have thought of ways to commemorate this special date by doing various activities.
With that being said, this year we have decided to make it all about you with these 45 questions, interview with yourself, survey, quiz—whichever you wanted to call it haha.
Why are we doing 45 Questions? Because... it's fun. Don't question.
Our theme for this year is the freesia, when given on the 7th Anniversary it upholds trust and faithfulness within a bond. The freesia is also a symbol of friendship. It was named freesia after Friedrich H. T. Freese by fellow botanist Christian P. Ecklon, as a tribute to their friendship.
This day marks seven years of trust, faithfulness and friendship with the site, it's creator and the community. As a thank you to all participants, we leave you with a thank you message from the creator of AFF himself.

Jason created the site so his girlfriend at the time could post stories because she was frustrated with Winglin. The story goes something like that and I remember when I first found out I thought it was really cute and touching.

I actually don't know the exact date but I know it was created in 2009.

One of my friends knew about it but I had never checked it out until she made me read a story.

To be honest I only made an account because you had to subscribe to read some story.

I'd say 6 or 7 depending on the day.

Read a few stories and reply to messages/comments.

I don't really do anything with them but I'm holding a contest to get rid of some of it. lol
20. How would you like to spend you karma points? (E.g. Kpop merchandise.)
Karma really has no significance when you really think about it so I think I'd just give it away to people that I think deserve good "karma" in the sense that they write well or if they've been good to me.
21. Have you ever uploaded a video in the video gallery?
No I haven't.
22. Have you entered the chatroom? How was it like for you?
I haven't done that either.
23. What is your favourite feature of AFF?
I love the disallow text selection, subscribers only and members only options for my stories. I love that I'm able to hyperlink and add pictures in my stories and that it has a blog section so I'm able to talk about things other than stories like general kpop events. The labels and bookmark features help me to save stories to read later so that's also another great feature. Not to mention that the layout of this site is simple and that makes it easy to use.
24. What is your least favourite feature of AFF? How can it be improved to make it better?
I don't really have a least favorite feature All the features are really cool. It's when people abuse those features that it becomes an issue.
25. If you could introduce just one feature on AFF, what would it be and why?
I think inline commenting would be a cool feature. Wattpad does it and it's very entertaining to see what exact line that someone is commenting on and it provides for the expression of an immediate reaction.
26. If you could customize the way AFF appears to you, what color would it be? You could just pick one color or a palette.
I honestly liked the old layout with the green color and I'm still adjusting to this new blue one even after all this time. However I think with enough time I could get used to any color. As a human I would say it's my duty to adapt to new situations. Haha
27. Who is/are your best friend(s) on AFF?
Sarah (headinthebooks101), Korey (Korekrypta), Anika (ihavefreetime), Elley (lucille_bcy), Ann (get2herheart), Ali (taelighted)

I used to use ReyaP30 for everything and that account still exists so choosing YifanForever was that other username. I don't have any other ideas.

kinks. I always get really disturbed that.

Making friends, seeing that my stories affect people, etc.

I've always focused on EXO since the beginning and occasionally I'll read about another group. The only thing that's changed is that I'm more open to idolxidol het ships. I still don't like any exogeneration other than Baekyeon but it doesn't make me cringe anymore.
40. There are many communities now on AFF (such as the writing, designing, coding, applyfic, roleplay, reader communities). Is there a community that you aren't part of but want to try one time?
I've literally tried everything I wanted to. I'm a writer but I also had a review shop for a while. I do graphic design from time to time and that's about it.
41. What is the best thing AFF or being a member of AFF taught you?
How to be a better writer.
42. What is your greatest contribution to the site so far?
Writing. I think people like my posters too so that's a good contribution. :D
43. What are your current AFF goals?
Keep working on finishing my stories, promote my contest and hope that people join so I have some good stuff to judge.

That's a loaded question and I don't really know how to answer it.

Thank you for creating this site. I know you created it for personal reasons but so many people have joined since then and it's been a source of comfort and strength for us. We're able to express ourselves freely here and have a good time without being judged for our interests. AFF has changed my life in a mostly postive way and I'm grateful for that.
