Ok, I was looking for a photo that I have on my computer (one of Yuri from Dating Alone).  I was going to post a rant about something that happened, but decided not to, and that was solely because this got me right out of my ranting mood.

This is one of the behind-the-scenes photos of her part in the show.  I saw it much smaller, on Google Images.

I swear, this was my first thought:

"Wait ... that looks famil ... is that a Blackmagic Design camera attached to his face?"

For anyone that wants to know, yes.  Yes it is.  In fact, it's their Pocket Cinema Camera.

I swear, I am so proud of knowing their cameras.  Or at least their logo.

Fusion should be a good alternative to After Effects, and DaVinci / Lightworks should be good free alternatives to Premiere / iMovie. If you download the BlackMagic Design software, do NOT download the Studio versions. These require you to have a BlackMagic Design camera, which are really expensive (this one and their Micro Cinema camera are their cheapest and cost $995 each, but they're TV production cameras so what would you expect them to cost?). The normal software is released free of charge and should be good enough.
