Hello! I am an author (started May 2015) plus reader (im picky as kkk when it comes to picking a story to read) and I really really really really love comments from readers, (esp long ones but even short ones can make me smile too of course, depends on what they write). I sometimes refresh my page every minute just to see if there are comments. I cannot even express how much I love comments (not those rude ones ofc). 

First, I just want to ask my readers. Do you guys read my Author's Note (the coloured passage at the bottom in some chapters). No worries, it's fine if you guys don't, ain't going to blame you guys :) When I first started writing, I do an Author's Note almost every chapter or every time I update but I realise it is kind of useless? I used to try and interact interact with them by mentioning something about my private life like my school or exam or whatever I experienced. Because readers don't read it , neither are they interested -.- so I don't write Author's Note as often anymore or my Author's Note won't be as long as last time.

Second, I just wonder if you guys like me to reply to your comments. I don't really reply to all but I do reply to some (depends on my mood when I read it, but I swear with my conscience that I read every single one of them). I will reply to some which really make me smile or some who asked me qns that I wanna answer. The thing is, sometimes, after I replied, they don't reply me back, so it makes me feel stupid like why did I even bothered. She probably finds me annoying or whatever it is, making me look like a fool. Sometimes, I wonder if a author should be more secretive and not reply to any readers or not write any Author's Note.

Finally, to all the silent readers (who don't comment but don't have to leave 60 comments if the story hav 60 chapters, just sometines when it really hits you or points which you really like abt the story). Not going to blame you guys because I used to be like this before I start writing. Lemme just explain, it is not like authors like is are super desperate for comments or just for the sake of raising the amt of comments/karama points. It is beause we likr to know if they are people who likes and wants to read our story, then we will be powered to continue writing. Also, I am pretty insecure at what I write so I need feedback so that I know if its okay if I write like these in the future. If not, I can improve! The most important thing is, I always feel that there are only 6 people (if there are only 6 comments for that chapter) who are keeping up with my story and only 6 people who read it. So I will wonder if the rest of the people don't like it or something (I know I overthink sometimes and I am being annoying). To be very frank and honest, I am powered by votes and comments, so I will update more frequently if there are more comments (unless i am so stuck which always happens). This is just based on my personal opinions, not representing all the authors or readers so no bashing. We can discuss this nicely :D
