Idols saving your life.

Recently I’ve seen some tweets where people are asking for retweets so their idols can see words ‘you saved my life’. And maybe everything could be alright if not the fact those oh-so-long-sad-letters are confined to ‘I got to know about their existence during the time I was depressed, they’ve saved me’. You’re so wrong people, you’re so wrong.

I’m not trying to be mean, full of myself, arrogant person, BUT - are you, people, really that blind? Do you really need to praise your idols so much to say they LITERALLY saved your life? For God’s sake, they didn’t even meet you, and you act like they just came to your house, became your good friend that you found solace in, didn’t come to your house and gave you advice how to survive your oh-so-depressing life you can’t stand, patting your head at the same time. Also, they don’t even know you and probably won’t know you, but that’s not the main case.  The thing is - it's just finding motivation in them. We are inspired by what they say, what they do, what they've achieved.  The attitude of theirs, fighting spirits, good hearts are inspiring, that's the fact. Their songs, lyrics also inspire. But I won't believe you if you tell me that it saved your life, nobody ever saved anyone by just existing and living their own life as they want to. The point I am trying to aim is - it's all you, you save yourself. People these days are taking music industry too seriously, making idols an perfect object that change our life, causing turnaround or so. People these days need so much attention they need to announce the whole world 'look at this person, they're perfect, please help me to tell 'em!', need to be in center of the whole world, try to make themselves look even more poor and miserable. And you all never think that maybe it's about motivation you found in them. As humans, we look at the others and try to draw a conclusion from what we see in their actions. We are inspired, what gives us motivation. So finally making a point, you motivate yourself for your own sake, try to make yourself feel better by for example listening to your idol's songs, even goddamn staring at their pictures, but I guess it's just looking at them and thinking what they've done in their life, kinda. Anyway, stop undervalue yourself, every person in this world has their own little end of the world. Even if ironically for some people it's parents buying white iPhone instead of gold one, for the other it's some serious life issues. Everything can be settled, y'all need to stop only whine about your life and start doing anything towards making it better and tolerable. Just a little bit more of faith in yourself can make you feel better.

My message is - stop crying over yourself and giving credit of making your life being better to people that don't even know you, it's pointless. Only you can live your life and no matter how deep is that you got into, you always find a way to bounce back.  But maybe first, get a life, most of you seem to live only your idol's, and that's what is wrong with you, you miss yours for your 'so-perfect-god's' sake. It won't give you happy, endlessly tremendous lifetime.

So whatever you think, really, just get your together and find motivation in your life and live this life for God's sake.

daamn i see where youre coming from though. i mean you definitely dont have to be on familiar terms with someone to find inspiration from them and it's great that you are motivated by them but eh, using the phrase "saved my life" isn't necessarily something i'd attribute to that case *shrugs*
