Let's face it -

"Thank you for the update", the phrase that is so annoyingly correct but also so lame it isn't funny anymore.

Like wow. Yeah. I'm also glad I did this but is this really all you want to tell me??

Plus, people on here are wayyy too lazy with commenting in general. Did the sense of how much work is needed to write a story really go?

If you want, feel free to ignore this. But I am almost 100% sure that there are more people than just me who think that way.

Greetings and enjoy your day/evening!

You already got more comments on this than I usually get for a chapter... XD
Like EriTay, I also wish I could get more comments in general and like verinchen, I also use that phrase - before or after a paragraph of commenting.
I totally agree that if we take the time to write 3,000+ word chapters, others should take the time to comment on that. I try to comment every time I read an updated chapter or a story (in Stumbling Down A Winding Road I have to comment more often because a) I'm not reading it all in one go and b) the chapters are so long I usually forget the majority of it and of what I had wanted to comment on by the time I even reach the end, let's not even talk about the fact I usually comment on more than one chapter...) In very few occasions only I really have no idea what I could say.
But I really wish people here made more comments and I think at least half the authors here on AFF share our opinion.
