I just found out that one of the writers I admire here may have copied one of her BaekYeol fics from a book. She allegedly copied the entire book word for word and only changed the characters to suit the ship. I am heartbroken. I have admired this writer for very long. Her AFF account has been deactivated, but there are actually existing user reports for her work that may have been plagiarized.

[I won't mention who this writer is, because I'm still giving her the benefit of the doubt, even though I have read the original book and her fanfic and discovered that the two are indeed very much alike. Part of me still ventures to say, maybe she wrote both the book and the fanfic?]

I don't intend to harm anyone with this post. I only needed an outlet for my disappointment to be aired. I actually believed this person has the talent for story-telling. I don't know anymore.
