I’ve been so kpop obsessed these days I haven’t have an English song in my playlist for quite a while, so this is pretty much going to be all kpop lol. Half of these are either “i don’t know any” or EXO lol fite me

“Black Pearl” by EXO. Be forewarned, half of these songs will probably end up being EXO.

 

2.  A song you like with a number in the title

“20” by Seventeen. This song is cute. And Woozi’s voice is my life. Enough said.

 

3.  A song that reminds you of summertime

“Goodbye Summer” by f(x), feat. D.O.

Technically, it’s goodbye summer, but I still love this song. It makes me feel this rather melancholy feeling, but their voices blend so well with Kyungsoo’s and asdfghjkl his voice is beautiful.

 

4.  A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about

“Rain” by Taeyeon. I don’t even know why, it reminds me of a friend that used to be close to me.

 

5.  A song that needs to be played LOUD

“Drag Me Down” by One Direction. I’m pretty sure you’ve all pretty much heard this, and apart from What Makes You Beautiful, it’s the only 1D song I know lol. I don’t know why, but this song just makes me happy and if it’s played loud enough, I can scream the lyrics and no one will have to hear my awful singing.

“Me Gustas Tu” by GFriend. It’s probably because I literally know the dance for it (or as much as my horrid dancing skills allow me to dance), but it’s cheerful and upbeat and makes me happy.

I actually don’t know any at the moment, at least that I can think of. I’ve actually been so kpop obsessed and I rarely understand the lyrics, so…

“Call Me Baby” by EXO, pretty sure this is self explanatory? Idk, this song makes me weirdly excited. That, and Love Me Right. Another song that makes me happy is Chanyeol’s “cover” he and Baek did of Lightsaber in the car for the V app. It’s actually the best thing I’ve ever seen -- tries to do the rap, but runs outs of breath halfway through.

 

10.  A song that makes you sad

“ Sing For You” by EXO. Mostly the Chinese version, since I’m Chinese. I normally listen to the Korean version of all of EXO’s songs, but their Chinese is pretty on point and Sing For You gives me OT12 feels -- personally, I’m convinced the lyrics are talking about members whom left.

11.  A song that you never get tired of

“Promise” by EXO. I love this song so freaking much and it makes me so emotional every single time I hear it but I still love it. It’s probably my all time favourite song of all time -- everything from the emotion in it to the message it’s conveying -- I could listen to this song on repeat for days and never get tired of it.

“Defying Gravity” by Idina Menzel. Even though I rarely listen to this anymore, I still rather like this song. Apart from that, all of Taylor Swift’s albums at that time were from my preteen years XD. I had a huge Taylor Swift phase.

“Sofa” by Crush, covered by Jungkook. IDK HIS VOICE IS NICE EVEN THOUGH I PERSONALLY THINK THERE’S NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE SONG LYRICS.

“Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven? I don’t know if it means classic classic as in Mozart Beethoven Handel Bach classic and probably not lmao but I actually listen to this song sometimes and play it on the piano and it’s fun to play (I also have it on piano tiles).

None. I could be held at gunpoint and the only way to save myself would be to sing and I wouldn’t be able to. Do not ask me to sing if you value your eardrums.

“Promise” by EXO, again, haha. I love this song honestly so much, and it reminds me of how much I love EXO and how hard they work and I want to cry and laugh and find them and hug them every time I hear it, which is like, at least ten times a day. And no kidding, it’s been played over 2000 times on my laptop.

“I” by Taeyeon. This song’s lyrics are rather encouraging to me, and Taeyeon’s voice is nice.
