» PERSONALITY

Samin at first impression and usually mistaken as cold and weird until people get to know him then they will see that hes giving and caring.  Hes nice and kind to people he know but hes also greedy and isnt always considerate or fond of others. Hes picky about food and people so he chooses his friends depending on how comfortable he is around them and if they get along well. Hes the kind of friend that would laugh at his friends if they get hurt before asking if theyre okay even if he is caring and giving. He doesnt care how others look at him except if he knows them and they know him. 

 

hes not humorous but do laugh regulary. hes mistaken as cold because he keeps a straight face and do talk with a straightforward attitude without conidering their emotions and feelings in the moment. whether people like him or not he doesnt care. 

» BACKGROUND

Samins stage name Gisu came from a best friend of his during their underground rapping days. Samin grew close to an older hyung named Gisu and they planned to build a career together as rappers but Gisu got into an accident and was killed. Samin didnt know how to deal with a friend who was like a brothers death so he started closing out other people until he became a trainee and teamwork was important. Samin was only 16 when his 18 year old friend Gisu died. He thought that if he uses his friends name as his stage name then it would feel like theyve accomplished becoming rappers together. his friends legacy live in him. brefore then Samin was a normal teenage boy who would pull pranks and laugh all the time.

 

Samin grew up in a home with mostly girls his mother was a singled mother (Wa Sumi) and he had three older sisters. the family expected Samin to be manly so he had to bottled up a lot of his emotions and esp without a father figure, it was hard to cope and be emotion before his family too. before Gisu died Samin joined freestyle rappers out on the streets but after Gisu died Samin was introcued to the idea of underground rapping. so at 17 he joined an underground group known as "Red Hounds". since YG was a strong rap company, Samin auditioned for the company when his friends said he shouldnt waste his skills. he started training at 18 under YG however he wasnt a runner up for Winner or ikon

 

He was born in Germany and lived in Germany until he was twelve then his mother moved the whole family to Korea after his parents got divorced. 14 was when he met Gisu because Gisu liked his rapstyle. when Samin was in Germany he studied English too to be able to hold conversations with American and English students from oversea. he was in clubs and his family housed a British student for six months

SCENE REQUEST: can I get a SaThan moment? :P Samin and Ethan arent friends but theyve met a few times while passing and Woncheol talks about the members so Samin is familiar with Daredevils and since he adore Ethans work and ways with words, it makes them even closer and Samin has always wanted to introduce himself to Ethan :]
SCANDAL: caught with another woman and rumored to be dating but it turned out to be his sister :]
