When I first saw that f(x)'s fandom name was ME U, I was really skeptical if I read it correctly. Like, "ME U? What did that even mean? Is SM being lazy and shoving them in the corner?" Well, upon reading different sources of this being true, I found that it's actually quite clever.

It's pronounced "Miyu" and it's meaning is supposed to connect f(x) to their fans, as any typical fan name could mean. But I found someone who said that it could mean "μ", which is a MATH SYMBOL. Given how f(x) is a math term as well, "μ" in statistics is the mean of a population. So, it could be the mean of all of their fans and them together.

SM, you clever bastard. Now, I can proudly call myself a ME U. <3
