The dream chasers is solely inspired by the 2013 hit blockbuster Singapore chinese show "The dream makers." The original show has 4 main female leads, 2 main male leads. But I changed the story and focus more on the younger characters about the love life and struggles as I feel it is more applicale to us readers.

When I first started out this fic, I have only 1 main male lead with 2 main female leads in my mind, making it a triangle love relationship. My original story has Donghae, Seohyun and Jessica. However, I feel that Jessica's character and the actual role in the show is not compatible. I also consider the fact that there are too many Haesica stories. So I decided to replace Jessica with Taeyeon. 

The addition of 2 more main male leads is becasue as you all know, a typical triangle relationship sounds so boring, why not make it a 5-way relationship. So I decided to add in Suho and Sehun as both of the are my biases in EXO. I also think that the original story is too draggy and boring so I decided to make a spin-off from the show.
