BACKGROUND
NAM HAYOON WAS BORN IN MARCH IN VANCOUVER, AMERICA. HER MOTHER, MIN GYEOL, WAS A FASHION STUDENT WHO CAME TO AMERICA TO FURTHER HER STUDIES BUT WAS CUT SHORT WHEN THEY GOT THE NEWS THAT SHE WAS PEGNANT. HER FATHER, NAM HAJOON, WAS A BUSINESSMAN WHO CAME TO AMERICA FOR MORE CHANCES OF BRINGING HIS COMPANY UP. BECAUSE THE NEWS WAS SO SUDDEN THEY DECIDED TO GIVE BIRTH TO HAYOON IN AMERICA INSTEAD OF MOVING BACK TO KOREA. HAYOON WAS BORN DURING THE SEVENTH MONTH OF PREGNANCY AND WAS REALLY SMALL. THEY WERE AFRAID THEY MIGHT LOSE HER AS SHE WAS FORCED TO BORN EARLY BECAUSE HER MOTHER WAS VERY SICK AT THAT TIME. BUT SHE SURVIVED AND WAS STABLE AFTER 2 MONTHS.
HAYOON GREW UP IN VANCOUVER. AS VANCOUVER WAS KNOWN FOR IT'S ART SCENE, HER PARENTS SENT HER TO VARIOUS ACADEMIES. SHE STARTED BALLET CLASS SINCE SHE WAS 3 AND LEARNED PIANO AROUND 4 YEARS OLD. BUT PIANO DIDN'T LAST LONG WHEN SHE STARTED TO PLAY VIOLIN. SHE ENTERED VARIOUS COMPETITION AND DID WELL IN SOME OF THEM. SHE GREW UP BEING HOME-SCHOOLED THAT'S WHY SHE'S VERY AWKWARD AROUND PEOPLE AS SHE WAS AN ONLY CHILD TOO. SHE DOESN'T REALLY LIKE STRANGERS AND VERY QUIET IN PUBLIC. she's really in love with snow and winter that she decorates her room with those decorations that it looked like it's christmas all year long in there.
HER MOTHER WAS VERY STRICT IN BEAUTY AND APPEARENCE SO SHE WAS BEING TAMED WITH FACIAL AND BODY SINCE SHE WAS LITTLE. WHEN SHE WAS 6 YEARS OLD, HER MOTHER SENT HER TO AN AUDITION FOR A KIDS FASHION COMPANY. FORTUNATELY SHE WAS ACCEPTED AND STARTED MODELING SLOWLY. AS A LITTLE GIRL SHE WAS QUITE DEPRESSED AS SHE HAD TO DO MANY THINGS AND WAS ALWAYS LACK OF REST. BUT SHE KEPT TO HERSELF BECAUSE HER PARENTS ARE 'NICE' AND 'KIND' TO HER THAT SHE OBEY THEM
WHEN SHE WAS AROUND 9 YRS OLD THEY OFTEN WENT BACK TO KOREA TO VISIT HER GRANDPARENTS AND THAT IS WHEN HAYOON STARTED TO KNOW BITS BY BITS OF KKOREAN POP. SHE TOLD HER PARENTS THAT SHE WANTED TO QUIT MODELLING AND START TO LEARN SINGING, BUT THEY TOLD HER TO DO BOTH INSTEAD. AS USUAL, BECAUSE SHE REALLY WANT TO LEARN SINGING SHE AGREED TO HER PARENTS TO DO BOTH EVENTHOUGH IT WILL ONLY SUFFOCATE HER MORE. THEY SENT HER FOR AN AUDITION AT yg ( because it was a coincidence that yg was organizing an audition) and luckily she was accepted. then she permanently live in korea with her grandparents. her parents move there the year after.
her trainee life was quite plain, as usual, training in the morning and sleep at night also the onthly evaluation. it was then when she turned 15, yg offered her to be a junior model in ygk+ aside from her trainee life. that's when she became friends with im hyunjoo who joined ygk+ around the same time as her. they were usually casted together in modelling and was casted in ikon's mv apology. when hayoon had her first debut mv she asked the director to feature hyunjoo in her mv. people would sometime tell her that she looks similar to leehi that they thought she was her sister, but the difference is leehi is a singer and hayoon is more to a rapper.
PERSONALITY
hayoon is very awkward around people as she is an only child. thanks to hyunjoo's outgoing style and her great circle of friends hayoon started to slowly befriend other people. it's hard to say that she's an indipendent girl because she will still call her mother when she needs anything, maybe because she was pampered very well since she was a kid.
she doesn't really like kids because she believes that she have this kind of love and hate relationship with childrens. this is probably due to her only child syndrome. she can't really cook because the last time she cook she almost burn her trainee dorm. however she is really caring towards everyone around her and have this sense to actually learn everything slowly.
as she is quite and timid, she can also be very cold towards anyone even her parents. she's the type to throw tantrums that you would never want to make her angry or everything in the house would be flipped. she doesn't really shows it when she gets jealous but you can still see it by her actions. you can't really tell when she's upset or angry because both will results the same - silent treatment or tantrums.

PERSONALITY changkyun was known as the lowest voice in monsta x and the playful maknae. he likes to tease his hyungs. he maybe playful but he can be really serious in few occassions. some fans of monsta x still hate him for the fact that he entered no mercy in the middle of the show but was still accepted. he would sometime cry over this fact but he would never do it in front of anyone and acted strong instead.
RELATIONSHIP they first met on music bank when hayoon was preparing for her debut stage and so was monsta x. it happened when hayoon accidentally went into monsta x waiting room because she was lost. changkyun being the maknae voluntered to help her. that is when they started to know each other's name. they then shared stories and stayed in contact. changkyun knew hayoon's american background and was excited to meet another 'english ' friend. they started to be good friends when changkyun constantly talking to her.
their first public encounter was during monsta x's rush promoting season. it was mcountdown backstage, monsta x was being interviewed in their waiting room when hayoon came in because she didn't knew about the interview. everyone was shocked then hayoon gave the flowers to them and stated that changkyun kept on notifying her about their comeback and she just can't ignore it. changkyun was excited because he always a thing on her since their first meeting but hayoon acted cool and -just her. hayoon didn't know about changkyun's feeling and they stayed friends.
