Okay so I’ve been more than a little obsessed with TVXQ/ DBSK for about 11 years now (I saw Rising Sun when I was 12 and lost my ) and in that time I have seen more than my fair share of bull in this umbrella we call k-pop. I have seen idols be out rightly racist, ist, and just plain terrible and no one say anything. It’s a lot better now as more and more fan are calling their idols out (thank god) so that’s not what this post is about. It’s not a idols getting a pass to be ty or about fans being gross because there are more than enough really great post that get into that better than I ever could. In fact this has nothing to do with anything meaningful at all. I’m just gonna be one of those Cassies and say it; if you didn’t experience them as five, shut the up.

I’m pretty good at staying away from bull and other gross but I just got done reading this thing a bunch of post lawsuit fans were spewing. “Ot5 people need to move on”, “the past is in the past”, “Homin has way better music”. Um, shut up. First of all, don’t compare their music because you really can’t. They as artist and grown men have completely different styles and sounds now. Not everyone is like me and love’s, it all. That’s fine, I get it, even I don’t like every song (that’s a lie but real talk Yunho’s Japanese mini was a bit of a letdown and I adore him).

Secondly, and more importantly, if you got into them post lawsuit and are a stans fan, sit down, shut up because no one wants to hear you talk about you don’t understand. You didn’t see them as five, I did. You weren’t there when they were struggling and holding onto each other, I was. You didn’t go through the pain of the lawsuit, feel the change in their personalities, see their hearts breaking, I did and I’m still here.

I and so many other veteran fans like me remember things that still makes us cry (not gonna get into it because that s not cute to bring up) and for SM to just totally act like none of it ever happen hurts. It hurts even more to see so called fans do the same. Anyone else remember when Jaejoong took to his twitter and couldn’t stop crying because I do and I cried with him. They miss each other, it’s pretty ing clear. Junsu has talked about it, Yoochun has talked about it, and our YunJae reunion was proof of it. They want to be together again but so called fans…don’t? what?

Are you honestly trying to tell me you don’t want the magic that is Mirotic era to ever happen again? Ew, go home, you’s a lying hoe.

I don’t even care if they can never stand on one stage together again, I just want them to be happy and be friends. I want them to hang out and pop in one of their old CD’s and adorably sing a long terrible to one of their songs and Jaejoong to forget the lyrics and everyone attack him with pillows (oh wait that be a cute fic).

I want out boys to be happy and if you call yourself a Cassie or Bigeaster, that’s all you should want to. You don’t have to love their music but you need to love them and support them and not pit them against each other. They wouldn’t want that. They don’t want that.

Now if you’re a rookie fan, this doesn’t apply to you. In fact, hello and welcome. But you if you’re a stans fan or postsuit fan, don’t tell me to move on and get over it when you don’t even know what you missed. How could you possible know what it means to always keep the faith if you never had it?
