So after reading all those theories revolving bangtan's recent videos: I need you, prologue and the new run teaser, and I agree with most of them. So reading this post we assume the theories we've come across are true. Then, let's take a look at this blog post:

IT BLEW MY MIND

I was so suspicious when I felt something weird about yoongi and jungkook always sticking together in the prologue.

so here I've came up with a theory of my own in regards to yoongi and jungkook's relationship. There are four possibilities, lovers, brothers, step-brothers or friends.

Taking a look back at the boy in luv music video, I found some clues. Well first off, due to the editing, we could never be sure if yoongi and jungkook were from the same class, so there is no clue whether they are of the same age or not. So I could not say if they have blood ties or they were merely friends.

 

When I first saw the music video, I knew jungkook liked the girl and I thought yoongi liked her as well. But it seemed weird that yoongi looked so pissed off when he had alone time with the girl.

He seemed more like bullying or threatening rather than interested. And when I watched it after reading the tumblr post, it just dawned on me. Yoongi didn't like her. When he saw the girl walk past the corridor he didn't even seem interested.

So in short, yoongi was pissed off at the girl and threatened her because jungkook likes her. This hints at yoongi liking jungkook himself and is jealous of the girl. Well this, or maybe yoongi and jungkook are brothers so yoongi warns the girl not to hurt jungkook.

So these photos come in, with yoongi looking secretly expectant when handing jungkook the rose.

It doesn't make sense if yoongi was cheering jungkook on to get the girl, because all of them looked serious and especially yoongi, who looks like a tough guy that secretly wants to cry. As it was the high-school era during boy in luv, it may hint at the confusion of ual orientation, as jungkook looks hesitant when accepting the rose. After looking at this, I decided that the theory of yoongi and jungkook being brothers is not really supported.

Time skip, and we see the boys, graduated and suffering.

There are two theories of the relationship of yoongi and jungkook in I need you, prologue and run teaser. One is that yoongi and jungkook started dating but jungkook's family rejected the idea, forcing jungkook to run away from home. The other one is that jungkook and yoongi lived together after starting to date but their relationship hit rocky days.

Jungkook barricaded yoongi in his room and ran out of their shared home after their argument, and eventually got hit by a car. Yoongi in turn burns himself. 

 

In I need u, we see jungkook walking the streets and yoongi lying on his bed with the other side of the bed undone like somebody used to sleep there.

If yoongi was really in a motel or hotel, he wouldn't get a queen sized bed with two pillows if he was there alone. He didn't look so well off and could have got a single bed to save money. He touched the pillow, showing that he misses the person who sleeps there.

And at the side you could see a shirt that allegedly jungkook wears. On the bedside table there are cigarettes and also in the jacket photos yoongi is seen overdosing on pills.

This hints at yoongi living a reckless life with alcohol, smoking and drugs, and maybe also the main reason jungkook fought with yoongi, eventually leading to their breakup and jungkook leaving the house.

So, in conclusion, I see a lot more clues that hint at jungkook and yoongi being lovers more than clues on them being brothers or friends. Well we could only wait for the new music videos, and see what else Bighit throws at us, whether it confirms with what we speculated, or not.

P.s. I rewatched war of hormones and saw this look on yoongi's face when he looked at the girl 😂😂 I guess he doesn't like girls
