Who watches Reply 1988 here? I soooo love it! Better than Reply 1997 (IMO), it's not just a drama about friendship or just a comical series. It has the right amount of comedy, drama. It is actually a slice of life genre. (I love slice of life genre!) It is a family drama. I am a big fan of friendship drama eversince but as I grew up I realized how important my family is.

It shows how different kinds of family suffer. And how each and everyone differs. It also shows how kids deal with their own suffering and how adults would console the kids. It is surreal series.

I love the drama but I hate how I need to wait like 4 days till the episode would be subbed. But what can I do aside from waiting?

I ship Junghwan and Deokson because everything leads to him. or we could have the biggest plot twist that it is Dongryong who is the husband. Lol. I have a feeling that Sunwoo likes Bora and they have a side love story. I also think Taek and Dongryong could be the second male leads. I think they are building up a story where in Taek would be studying too. I mean why would he be so jealous that they are going on a school trip while he is going to Tokyo? And then the next thing he loses? It only leads to Taek going to school. (I watch and read too much that I conclude everything.)

So guys, are you shipping? Or you are not? (For your heart's sake?) Even though I know shipping hurts like hell, I would still ship Junghwan and Deokson<3 Because Junghwan is the biggest tsundere of the year. Hahahaha. Seriously, he is not handsome but he is really really handsome. (My friend says he resemble my first love. The love that I'll never recover from hahahahaha)

P.S. I didn't really had my hopes high for Reply 1988 because I know that Hyeri is not that good at acting but she got me hooked up and she showed me I was wrong.

P.S.S. Does anyone of you find Junghwan (Ryu Joonyeol) resemble Woobin at times? Especially his eyes? How bout SunWoo (Go Kyungpyo) at times I see Siwon in him especially the eyes. And Taek (Park Bogum) is like the younger version and softer version of Hong Jonghyun. And Dongryong (Lee Donghwi) reminds me of the other actor on Reply 1997. I forgot his name though...the friend of Youngjae who sits behind him.
