So I went to the open mic night at my Univeersity tonight and it was super cool. I wasn't planning on reading anything because I honestly didn't think I had anything worth sharing. However my co-worker and friend kept telling me to sign up to read. Now my automatic response was that I didn't have anything to read and my friend just told me to read one of my shorter stories. So I did. I got up there and my heart was pounding but when I finished and finally looked up everyone was clapping and it honestly felt so good to be up there and sharing my story. This is one of the few times where I have shown my work to someone outside of the kpop fandom and the response makes me want do it again.
