First Date Help

A year ago, my first long term boyfriend and I broke it off. It's taken me until now to fully get over that man (and still, there's somethings I haven't come to closure). But that's not what I'm ranting talking about today -

I'm finally going on a date again, with a man who's been pursuing me for quite some time. Honestly, it doesn't feel just quite spark-tastic as my old lover but I'm finally willing to give him a chance. After all, the best way to get over someone is to get under anot - not that I'm willing to sleep with this guy, omg, nope.

Any ideas for someone who's dating skills are half inexperienced and half rusted? Conversation starters? Things not to do? Clothing?

Please help a writer out, neh?

I agree with AnnaLee. Just be yourself. Don't be someone you are not.
For clothes, think about the time you going to have the date and where you are going.
To start a conversation... it'll be hard but think of something you two have in common. (I'm not sure sorry).
If he has been pursuing you, I bet he is as nervous and anxious as you so don't worry so much :)

I agree with the comment below - be yourself and be honest. If you are nervous, it isn't a shame to admit it and I'm convinced he'd be nervous as well. Good luck!

Just be yourself! If you can't be yourself around him, there's no point...

All the best!!
