Tokyo fanmeetings – August 13 and 14 2015 – fan account

Hello!

This week I went to the two Tokyo dates of the fanmeetings BTS are having in Japan for the first year anniversary of their JP fanclub, and judging from the twitter reactions, I thought I’d share my experience in one more concise post.

First of all, to go to this fanmeet, you had to be a member of the Japanese Fan Club. You don’t have to be Japanese to be a member of the FC, but you do have to have an address in Japan. Unlike the regular FC where you can join only once a year, you can join Japan FC at anytime and your membership will last one year. You can join on the official Japanese website, and your friend Google can help you find that.

Also, another thing about concerts in Japan is that they have this reaaaaally stupid system for assigning seats. It’s called “lottery”. Basically, it means that when you buy a ticket, the seats you get assigned are random. For normal concerts, FC members always get to buy tickets a few days in advance from “regular people”, but for really popular acts, if you are not a FC member, you won’t even get to buy a ticket because they’ll already be sold out from just the FC. So if you really like a band, it’s best to join the FC. But let’s go back to the lottery system and why it’s stupid. Even being FC does not guarantee you will even be able to get a ticket. Here’s how it works. When the tickets go on sale, you have a time period (usually a few days) to apply for a ticket. Then maybe a week later, you will get an email saying if you won or lost. If you won, it’ll tell you you have to pay for your ticket, so you have to go to the combini (convenience store) and enter the code in a little machine and you pay there and get a receipt. Then you wait. Maybe a week or two before the concert, you’ll get another email that says you can go pick up your ticket, so you go back to the combini, play with the machine some more and go to the register with you receipt and the cashier will print your ticket, and THEN you will know your seat number. :/ Sounds fun, huh?

So since I was in Canada on vacation for a month, I didn’t get to know my seat number til the day before the show lol. I was on the first floor for both days, but on the first day I was way in the back, kinda center, and the second day I was on the right side, really close to the stage! Oh btw, I had also applied to one of the Osaka dates but didn’t get in. also when you apply for tickets, you can only apply for 2, max. If you apply for 2, those two tickets will be seated together.

Anyways, enough about that, I’m sure that’s not what you came to hear about :p

August 13th – day 1

I arrived at Tokyo International Hall around 11:30am because I wanted to buy merch. The merch was going to be sold “outside” the venue from 12am so that people who could not go to the event could buy it too. (heeey, get that money BigHit…) I was gonna go a lot earlier, but I ended up just getting there 30 minutes before. That was a big mistake. I don’t know the official numbers, but I am totally not exaggerating when I say that at least 7 000 people must have come to buy merch that day. It was INSANE. I was 30 minutes before it even started, and the line started from inside Hall A, went all the way outside, then inside another building where it s around for maybe 1000 people and went back outside to line around the building. It was just nuts. One of my friends had arrived earlier, around 9am, but she was in the second building and I couldn’t find her so I just went to the back of the line, outside, in the disgusting Tokyo heat (34C with 90% humidity, heyoo!!)

About 30 minutes after I’d gotten there, there were already like, 200 more people behind me, lol. And then the line didn’t move for about an hour. It took like 2 hours for me to even get into the second building, and then I finally got into the actual building, it was like 4:30pm. At 5pm, the merch booth closed. The people who didn’t have tickets were told to go home and left the line. I guess it must’ve really for them after waiting for hours… but we were told that if we stayed in the line, they would let us into the hall first and we could go straight to the merch booth, which would reopen then, so we sat down and waited til 6pm.

Fun fact, when I was waiting in line outside at the beginning, around maybe 1pm, a family of French tourist came to ask me (since I was like the only white person there) what people were lining up for, and I was like “hum… well… there’s this group called BTS that are gonna have a concert and…… all these people are lining up… to buy the merch from the show……” lol. That guy must’ve thought we were all nuts, lol. I also made friends with a Japanese girl who had come by herself and was in line right next to me… she tried to approach me in bad English at first, asking me where I was from, which was cute. It was nice to have someone to talk to cuz waiting in line for 6 hours in humidity so gross that it made my skin shrivel (MY skin… not Japanese people’s…. *criesforever*) and she was really sweet and nice, and even lent me her portable charger when my phone was starting to die <3

Anyways, when FINALLY 6pm rolled around, we could get in and they checked our bags and tickets. As I said before, you had to be official FC to get in so, along with your ticket, you needed your ARMY card and photo ID so they could match it with the name on the ticket. So absolutely no reselling was possible for this event. I made a beeline for the merch and had to wait again for maybe another 30 minutes before I could get my goods. I bought pretty much everything except what was already sold out. Surprisingly, the photosets were not sold out, but all the mini-pouches were sold out, the cap, and the L-size t-shirts in both colors as well, so I knew I definitely had to come back earlier the next day if I wanted them. Also V and Jungkook uchiwas were sold out since they are the most popular members.

After that I ran into my friends who had arrived much later since they were coming from Aichi, and we chatted a bit before heading to our seats. Since they had very strict policies about getting caught videotaping, I didn’t wanna risk it. Also my seat was the first one on the side of a row so I thought it would be very obvious if I did. Like I said before, my seat for that day was near the back, and I thought it was gonna be really ty, but actually I could see really well!! The venue was not that big, and because of the layout, it was still pretty near; much better than when I went to Wake Up anyways. Actually, this venue is supposed to be for plays or orchesteras I think, so there are two floors and they go sloping down a little. It has a capacity of about 5000 people.

There was black screen at the back with a BTS logo on it, and after a while the lights went black and the crowd screamed. Then the screen showed a short VCR of “BTS” (it was 7 guys dressed in black with their faces hidden, so who knows if it was really them…) doing an undercover mission, and running in the forest and hacking into some building. Afterwards, a sort of siren sound started ringing, and then nothing happened for a while and we were getting anxious, but then these guys dressed in “SWAT” suits appeared on the stage and started running down the aisles. They taped up a section of the crowd (like with yellow police tape) and instead of appearing on the stage, BTS came from a door on the left side and walked through the crowd, next to the section that had been taped off. They were wearing their outfits from when they performed “Heuntan Sonyeondan” during their I NEED U promos on the music shows… you know? The ones with the pastel-y colorful jackets? Look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about… it happens to be one of my favorites <3 Anyways, they walked on stage and launched straight into DOPE, followed by War of Hormones (in Japanese) and いいねpt.2. I (and every other fangirl in the place, let’s be honest) was really excited to hear them perform that song again!!! Damn Hobi and his hip-s….

Anyways, after that, they all caught their breath and stood in line (from left to right: V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, Rapmon, Jimin and J-Hope) and there was a disembodied voice that started talking to them, and on the screen behind them, there appeared a shadow of a guy with a blurred face and he said the was their boss, and that today they had to complete a bunch of missions, so after that, they just started calling him “boss” and throughout the whole night, they would keep asking him to tell them who he was (he wouldn’t say) and what kind of person he was, which was kinda funny.

Their first mission was to introduce themselves, and they all did one by one. The order was always the same for answering questions, even if they were standing in different order. It was always Rapmon first, then Jin, then…. Oops, I dunno, but I remember J-Hope was like 4th and then V was always last. During their introductions, Suga introduced himself as “tensai min suga” lol, which means genius. J-Hope introduced himself as “the man who doesn’t like scary things”, and Kookie said he was the cutest man, lol. And Jimin said he was “the man who is loved the most” and it was such a cocky and cheesy thing to say and the other members were booing, going “samui” (cold) but he was just grinning cheesily, haha. Oh also, Rapmonster said “I’m Rap Monster, not Raku Monster, but if you want, you can call me Raku Rap Monster” lol. “raku” in Japanese means kinda like ease, relax, comfort… so like, “Comforting Rap Monster”… pwahaha…

After that they had to do several missions, you’ll forgive me if the order is a little scrambled but I don’t remember everything well, so… here I go. One of the missions was that they had to do random-play-dance with 5 of their songs (NO, Jump, Rise of Bangtan, Danger, Blanket Kick), and the MC let each song play for quite a bit, so when he stopped, they were like “that was way too easy!” and so he was like, “ARMY do you wanna see it again?” and everybody screamed, so they did it one more time.

That day, V was acting kinda aloof and “cool boy”-like, like he was playing a role, it was really funny. Around the beginning, he started talking about how he loved driving and he had lots of cars, like Porshe, Lamborghini, etc… and everyone was screaming and then he goes “yeah but actually, they’re mini cars”. Lol. Silly V. And also, the MC asked Jin, “Jin, these days, you’re eating a lot, how come?” and Jin said it was because his dog Jjangu was in his stomach and he was the one who was eating so much, and he started patting his stomach and making barking noises, XP

Another mission was called the “tension elevator”, and before I get into it, I kinda have to explain something to you. “Tension”, or more “high tension”, is a kind of “Japanglish” expression. It is used a lot in Japanese, and it means to have the mood or atmosphere be kinda hyped up. And “tension agaru” is often used and it means “to raise the tension”, so, to make the mood more hyped. So for this tension elevator game, since they were standing in line, the MC would give them a gesture to perform, and the first person would have to do it with “low tension”, and then then next member would have to “raise the tension”, and so on, so the last person would have to do it with super high tension.

Their first task in this was to imitate Jin. In this case they started with J-Hope, and they made Jin go to the end of the line so he could do himself at the end. Hobi started by miming eating with his lips all puckered out, then the following members did the same, making it a bit bigger each time. When it was V’s turn, he messed up cuz he didn’t get that he was supposed to do the same gesture lol, so he mimed checking himself out very vainly in a mirror, haha. So the boss made him do it again. By the time it got to Jin, the person before (I forget who it was) had made it so over the top that, to top it, he started miming shoving inhuman amounts of food into his mouth… while doing the traffic dance across the stage!!! It was so funny. We all laughed though the Boss was kinda confused and had no idea why he was doing that, haha…

The next task for the tension elevator game was that they had to imitate someone who was angry, and for that they changed the order, and made Suga go last, lol.

After a lot of talking, they left and there was a VCR of “BTS from debut until now” with clips of their various videos and performances and activities in Japan. After they came back on stage, they were wearing different outfits, with shorts and white tops (but they all had different tops) and there was more talking and missions. I don’t really remember too much since I waited too long to write this (sorry!) but here are some tidbits I remember.

At one point, V was like “ARMY, do you remember?” and he went “seeeno..” ( “seno” in Japanese is like saying “ready… go!”) and held his mike out but like, nobody knew what he wanted us to shout so he was really disappointed. And he tried again but everyone’s answers were all jumbled and he got really sulky. Then another member was like “give ARMY a chance” so he gave us a hint, saying it was from the For You anniversary event, and everyone remembered and he went “se-no” again and everyone shouted “SHIAWASE!!!” and V and then he shouted “dai” and we all shouted “baku” and did it again a few more times. And then he was happy again. What he was referring to was that during the anniversary mini fanmeet he made the crowd shout “shiawase” (happiness) a bunch of times like this, cuz it’s like his favorite word in Japanese, and “Daibaku” is this word he made up which his “Japanese version” or the word “daebak” in Korean. He was hoping to make it trend. lol

Also, Jimin did so good at speaking Japanese! And he tried so hard for the whole show and it was really cute and touching. And then when he said that he wanted to get really better at Japanese, and become even better than Rapmonster! Also, most of them spoke a lot of Japanese! Which was really nice/surprising. Only Suga obviously can’t speak anything besides a handful of words, was usually using mostly Korean, and there was a translator on hand who would translate everything he said. Actually, I really have to hand it in to that woman because she would translate, like, almost INSTANTLY whenever a member used Korean. Like I would never be able to do that even between English and French (which I both speak native-like) so, wow.

And towards the end Kookie was talking about how he really likes to eat dango, and the boss asked him what kind but he didn’t know so he just mimed eating it off a stick and said they were brown so the MC said it’s mitarashi dango, and that he should go buy some at the combini after this show is over, so Kookie said he would. XD

Also, Army’s fanchants were really on-point that day! Everyone cheering so loud!

At the end, the boss revealed himself and everyone went “aaaahh” because apparently it was someone famous? I don’t know him though and I don’t remember his name. It was some youngish guy and apparently the boys knew him too.

Then the boys said their goodbyes, and all I remember was Taehyung’s incredibly cheesy/cocky love declaration to ARMY in Korean. He kept saying a few words and pausing, and a few more words and pausing, and saying uber cheesy like “look only at me” and finished with “ARMY saranghae” and everyone would scream in between each bit.

After that they left and people started screaming for an encore. They came back wearing the black “Undercover Mission” t-shirts and performed “Heuntan Sonyeondan” and said thank you and goodbye one last time, and that was it!

The show lasted about 2 hours and then of course everyone stayed and chatted afterwards so we didn’t leave past 10pm and I was so dead and felt like my feet were gonna decompose after standing up all freakin day, so I went home and promptly passed out. (not really though, I stayed up and fangirled on twitter til past midnight XP

August 14th - Day 2

On the second day, I vowed to get there much earlier so that I could get the merch that had been sold out on the first day. I got up at 4-freakin-am, and got there by 6:30 and there was already a huge line! Crazy ARMY… my friends had arrived at 6am and had saved me a spot, and from where they were sitting, there were already at least 200 people behind them!!!! We were lucky though because they decided to open the sales from 9am instead of 10, and they had doubled the amount of staff at the merch table so once they opened, it moved pretty quickly, and we were all done by 10:30. I managed to get the cap and t-shirt I couldn’t get the day before, and some more photosets. After that we just chilled around the venue for a while, exchanging photocards with people and chatting. I even went to LOFT to buy stuff to make a Hobi placard since I had such a good seat, my friends said he would definitely see it, lol. Oh, and I forgot, there was also a table where you could renew your fanclub membership, and if you did it there, you got a special photocard with a message. I got Jimin’s. And there was also another table where they would give you a poster of the picture that was taken with ARMY at the For You mini fanmeet in June if you bought a cd, so I pre-ordered the Japanese version of “the most beautiful moment in life pt.1” to get it, eheh.

The event started at 2pm that day, and my seat was 7th row on the right side. I thought it was an amazingly good seat (and yeah, I could see really well) but because of the layout of the stage, the members never ever looked in our direction… T-T I was kinda upset about it… but nevermind that for now.

Things proceeded the same as they had the first day, except that the “SWAT” guys went to put the police tape in a different place than the day before. They put it on the right-most area of the front seats, right around my section!!! So Bangtan entered the stage from there and they passed RIGHT IN FRONT ON ME!!! That was really exciting!!! XD they were looking straight ahead though, not at us… too bad… but I remember thinking Suga looked REALLY hot. Lol.

They did the same 3 songs as the day before, and then the thing with the boss and introduced themselves. It was a different Boss that day. He had a fast way of speaking and high pitched voice, and was kinda weird and y. He kept flirting with them and telling the boys he liked them and that they were so cute…. And at one point he said “oh you know I don’t just like girls, I like boys too” and everyone was just laughing kinda awkwardly but Jungkook was like “eww, I’m going home” and pretended to leave lol. Also another time, he was like “you guys, your shorts are so short, why are they so short?” and then Jimin was like “I have really nice legs, so…” and so the camera zoomed in on Jimin’s legs, going up and down for like a whole minute, lol.  And this MC liked talking so much that at one point, he started introducing another mission and Rapmon went “hey wait, did we get a mission clear for the last one?” and he went “oh, right! Oh yeah you did”. Lol.

So then the members all introduced each other again. Suga of course introduced himself as “tensai min suga” and the MC asked him what kind of genius and he said he was “aegyo genius” so the Boss asked him to do some and he did and everyone cheered. And then he was like, “ok, when I say go, you have to do ageyo” and he went “Go! Go! Go!” and Suga struck a different pose everytime and it was really freakin cute and afterwards the MC declared that he really was an aegyo genius. When Jimin’s turn came, he said he was a genius too and the MC asked “what kind” and Jimin was like “tada no tensai” which means “I’m just genius” and the MC kept arguing but Jimin kept going “just genius”, and they kept at it for the whole show, saying that he was “just genius”. Even later in the show, when they were showing off jimin’s legs, I think, Jimin was like “my legs are genius, my hair is genius, my face is genius” lololol….

When V did his intro, he did his bit with the cars again like the day before, and then the MC asked him if he would get a car, what kind of car would he get and Taetae thought for a bit and he said he wanted a monster car, and MC said “what’s that?” and Rapmon came over and squatted and extended his arm and V got like on him and they pretended to ride around XP

They did the random play dance thing but it was a lot different than the first day. We also found out that it was the Boss who was pushing the buttons to the songs lol. At first, it was the first same 5 songs than the first day (though not in the same order) but the MC kept making them go either really slow or really fast, or repeating the same part after like 2 seconds lol (one was like the hip in “tomorrow” XP) and so after a while he stopped and yelled at them a bit, especially at Hoseok, lol, then they started again and it was just hilarious. Let me just say the boys are amazing cuz they could keep up with their choreo even when it went in fast-forward!! Then he stopped and asked everyone if we wanted to see it with different songs, so he changed the songs and I can’t remember all cuz I was too happy “converse high” was in there, haha, but it was different songs than the day before. Oh and after a while when the MC kept repeating the same part when Hobi was in the center, he did this stupid dance with his legs spread out and waving his hands from side to side and pulling this crazy smiley face with his mouth open, showing teeth, and he did it for like every single song after til the Boss stopped.

During the tension elevator, they had to do something to imitate Hobi this time. Jin started with a tiny little buing-buing and then I think it was V, who messed up again by doing something different again and got told off by the members. So he just did the same, then Kookie’s turn and he started from behind and turned and flashed a cutsey buing-buing and the crowd squealed. Then it was Namjoon’s turn and he just couldn’t do it and it was so funny, so the MC scolded him and said it was too weak so him and kookie should probably switch places lol. So they did and then they BOTH had to do it again lol. Then the other members did, escalating the whole thing, and when it was Hobi’s turn, since he was last, he started screaming in this high-pitched voice and jumping up and down as he buing-buinged and then he ran across the stage while screaming, and then MC was like wtf, which was really funny. He was like “is he really like that?” and the members went “yeah”.

And then they had to do a thing with how they would seduce a girl, so Jin did a “kabedon” to Suga, then Suga to Rapmon. Then Rapmon to Hobi, but he pulled like this really y face, and Hobi looked so embarrassed… omg, my heart… then Hobi did it to Jimin and tipped him backwards in his arms XD but Jimin didn’t look like he was enjoying it too much, haha. And then Jimin did it to V, and then V to Kookie and he like grabbed his hair and put his forehead against him and stared him dead in the eyes and then pulled this really crazy face, lol, which kinda killed the y vibe… and then the MC told Kookie he had to kabedon ARMY so Kookie rolled up his sleeves, looked at the camera did a y kabedon, AND THEN HE STARTED STRIPPING!!!!! He was looking into the camera like super cockily and started slowly ing the top buttons of his shirt!!!! (he was wearing another shirt under it though…. ;p)

There was also another one where they had to act cute. The MC told Rapmon that he should go to the head of the line because it would probably be too hard for him, haha. People argued for who would be at the top of the line, but in the end it was Jin I think. Jin did a cutesy face, then rapmon, and V and Kookie, I think, then Jimin, who was so awkwardly cute (I may be mixing up the order after Rapmon… sorry) and then Hobi, who went to the front of the stage, sat on one of the light boxes, and did a full aegyo performance that lasted nearly a minute, and absolutely killed me cuz it was so adorbs. And the MC yelled at him, saying how the heck could anyone do that with more tension than that??? Then Suga was last, after Hobi, who had just KILLED it, and he was like crying/cringing cuz, how to do better than Hoseok? And he tried, but MC said he wasn’t good enough, so he tried again, going on his knees, but then when he got up the MC said he was going to hurt his knees if he went on the floor like that with his shorts on.

One of the questions was that they had to do a confession, or say a secret. I forgot the order but Rapmon admitted that yes, he does break everything. During Tae’s turn he went all suave-mode and was like “I got a really big secret…. *pause* something no one knows… *pause* I got an elephant on my body…” and the crowd squealed cuz we all knew, but the MC was all confused, and Tae took off his jacket and showed his elephant lol. And Kookie went “I have one too!” and showed it, but MC was like “shush you, this is V’s turn”. But when Tae was finished, the Boss said “oh I’m relieved, I thought you were going to show us your elephant down there” and Tae was so freakin’ shocked and embarrassed and he got all red and couldn’t stop laughing but you could see he was trying so hard to not laugh and there were tears in his eyes.

For Jin’s turn, he said that he was very kind to the members, or like, very affectionate and the MC asked him to demonstrate so he went to hug all the members one by one and Suga and Jimin were acting like “wtf” and Najoon had this smile on his face and welcomed him with open arms and patted his back (kekeke, Namjin) and he went to hug everybody else and I was still giggling to myself about Namjin, but THEN! He like jumped on V and held him like he wanted to make out with him, and everyone just SCREAMED. And then afterwards V was laughing so cutely <3 Suga’s confession was that he doesn’t do aegyo in real life, but in front of ARMY, he can do it easily because it makes us happy <3  I think this is when Jungkook said his thing about liking the smell of J-buildings. And Hobi said that actually, he still couldn’t remember hiragana. And then he started shouting this made up song going “a-i-u-e-o, ka-ki-ku-ke-ko” over and over again and striking his crazy papapaaa pose and just being crazy J-Hope…

Another question was they had to say like a best/fond memory of the last year in Japan. Rapmon said of course Wake Up tour, and getting number 1 on Oricon charts with For You. And he also said that he really liked performing in front of Gundam and it was really cool that so many people came. And the MC was really confused about why he was talking about Gundam and asked him if he rode it, lol. (it’s because the mini-fanmeet happened in Odaiba, where the giant Gundam statue is located, and so many people showed up for it that the crowd ended up going all around the Gundam statue, lol. I was there too <3) Other members repeated similar things like WakeUp and Oricon #1. Hobi said his best moment was when he was surprised by the fans in Nagoya for his birthday and it was really touching. V said his best moment was right now with all of ARMY and then he pretended to have a heart attack and Suga went to fetch him from the back of the stage and comforted him, and V said he wants to hold ARMY in his arms <3

Another question was “what do you want to do in Japan that you haven’t done yet” and V said he wants to go to a onsen. And MC asked if he wanted to go with ARMY and it got kinda awkard and he finally answered “hum, no” lol. If you don’t know, onsens are hot springs that are really popular in Japan, but you go there , even if it’s in front of strangers (though it’s usually separated male/female) lol. I think our Taehyungie is possibly afraid to get if ARMYs are let in there with him, hahaha… Rapmon said that he really wants to ride a Shinkansen because they haven’t had the chance yet and he saw it in a movie lol. He said the movie title but I don’t know it. Then MC asked if he wanted to ride the train with ARMY and everyone laughed.

There’s also some bits that I remember but not which order they came in, so here they are, at random.

Jin hit himself in the mouth with his mic when he went to tell something to Taehyung but Tae turned quick and it hit him.

The MC asked Rapmon what the first word he learned in Japanese was and he said the first was “hajimemae” (nice to meet you) but that after that the first word was “kaigisu”, which is pretty random cuz it means “meeting room” and that the other one was “shokudou” which means “cafeteria” so the MC saying it’s like he was a salaryman. Then he was asked what his favorite words in Japanese were and he said 3. The only one I remember is “obake” which means “ghost”. Then he asked Hobi what the first word he learned was and he said “otearai” which is the fancy word for toilet, but normally everyone just sais “toire” which is like toilet pronounced with a Japanese accent, so the MC made fun of him for not just saying “toire” but then was like, “yeah it’s important to know that word, the first word I learned in Korean was xx (he said the Korean word for toilet)”.

There was also a part where the boss asked Hobi what bug he hated the most and he said cockroaches and asked him to do an imitation of his reaction if he saw one and he started screaming and jumping away from it and trying to stomp on it with the edge of his foot lol. Also he kept doing this pose like, in a lunge with his body ahead, and fist in the air like superman, going “papapaaaa!!!” throughout the WHOLE show, it kinda became his meme and MC kept making fun of him for it and referring to it.

Kookie said he likes the smell when he goes inside a Japanese building, which was pretty random. The boss told him he should just buy a building in Japan and come live here but then he says he can’t cuz he has no money.

Another time, towards the end, Jungkook tried to explain that he was a “muscle pig” but he said “niku no buta” which translates as “pig of meat” which kinda makes no sense in Japanese. Sometimes we use “niku” for muscles, but he shoulda said “kin niku” which is the actual word for muscle, so the MC was super confused and not getting it and kookie got so frustrated and just gave up. Even I was like “wtf is he talking about??” til the “muscle pig” joke from BTS festa popped in my head and I was like “OH!” lol.

After all the talking, the boss revealed himself and it was chubby old guy, who was also some sort of personality but I didn’t know him. Then they said their goodbyes and Taehyung did his cheesy thing from the day before again, and they left before encore. But then they came back a short time later and they hadn’t changed their clothes at all, and did Heuntan and then quickly said goodbye. I think maybe it’s because they had gone over their time because the MC was talking too much, lol.

I left, feeling elated but also pretty upset that Hobi hadn’t looked at me at all, even with my cute placard, but such is life. Then I met back up with my friends and we went to Starbucks to gossip and relive the show together.

The end!!
