The Book of Nightshade is open... [Fandom Rant]

So, I am on a very unapologetic tear at the moment. I'm truly not sorry for the opinions I hold about the absolutely disgusting behavious I've seen in fandom.

Some of the things I've seen in the past few years have been BEYOND and I've had it.

I expect a lot of friends and followers to drop off immediately - whatevs, bye Felicia!

Read at your leisure: https://therantistblog.wordpress.com/2015/08/02/fandom-rant/

Fools who abide this kind of ery certainly won't be tolerated any longer. I don't have the patience to keep silent about some of this rampant foolishness.

Take it or leave it.

I love ranty baby. And TOTALLY agree with everything stated! Even though I've been out of the loop and have no clue what sparked it.

A-Men Sister! Can we all just say that with me? AMEN!!! PASSPORT INFO?!! In the age of IDENTITY THEFT?!! I say track em down and prosecute them, but you CAN'T PROSECUTE THEM FOR STUPIDITY! You CAN however, get them for theft of personal info, and lots of other things. I say there are LOTS of other instances where the person posting should be held accountable also.
Shippers. Agreed, ship them in your heart. Let them be In reality. IF it is a fanservice ship, like GRi, then go ahead and acknowledge it, but DON"T GO NUTS! Some concerts even SELL the ship banners, so to an extent, some of it is ok, but FORCING the subjects into seeing it/acknowledging it/ making them uncomfortable is NOT right.
Airport photos. They are ok if you get one in passing, but being a douche about it, no.
Comments YOU GO TOP! I absolutely LOVE when the subject makes it obvious that they are not going to put up with the nastiness/judgemental behavior or their followers. Choi Seunghyun is #1 in my book for telling followers he doesn't like to go away or be quiet. These people work harder than most to make you happy, and have decided to share a little of themselves that they do not HAVE to, and they get crap like "stop posting pictures of food, I didn't follow you to see what you eat" and crap like that. It make me PROUD when he told that one off.

Overall, tis rant is DEAD ON. I am with you 1000% on it.

Amen. These children need to seriously learn that you can't just put anything you want on the ing internet. As you know I'm a BTS fan and a few weeks ago the New York so had to be cut short because some from Canada decided it would be an awesome joke to make a death threat against one of the members on her twitter. Posting a pic of a gun and saying she's coming for him. Seriously someone needs to be made an example of and I hope at the very least bighit and the best buy theater find her and sue for damages. Today's internet ery is unreal and there seriously needs to be consequences.
