I'm curious

hello friends,

I joined this AFF in 2013, just to read fic because i really love to read but what odd is that i only read GRI fanfiction or OT5. i dont even read TODAE and GTOP fanfiction unless there is some GRI in that story. till now i have read almost every story in AFF with the tag GRI or NYONGTORY.

now what made me curious is that:

Why in every story seungri plays the role of

1: poor

2:suffering from lethal disease

3:assaulted

4:betrayed/cheated

5:always bullied

6:the weak one/ unwanted one

7:less talented one

And Why jiyong always play the role of

1:rich

2:poweful one

3:bully

4:cheater

5:the bad one

6:talented

7:loved by all people

i have read only few story where seungri was rich and powerful one and jiyong plays the opposit role. i always wonder why? this mindset also makes me write story where jiyong plays the bad one.

curious curious curious..

does anyone has any answer?

I've always wondered that as well but I think cause Seungri is the maknae and Jiyong is not only the Hyung but also the leader so people try to enforce those through fanfics. I don't really care what way it goes, as long as Seungri bottoms in then im good lmao (i can't stand bottom jiyong i dont know why)

You should write one with swapped characteristics. That should be fun. It's just a stereotypical mindset. Once you got the idea going from one story. More stories follow with the same stuff. Same thing goes for the whole Yunho and Jaejoong thing. The latter is always the victim of whatever or the one getting pregnant in mpreg.
